I leaves my stainless steel interior gleaming and takes care of any odors I get in my washer. It seems a little pricy, but I only have to use it every 3 months. This is a great dishwasher cleaner. Keeps my 17 year old dishwasher running like new. Clears out any food waste left behind and leaves the machine smelling great.

These work as good as the finish pods. My dishes always come out clean. But sometimes my knives and butter knives have like rust on the blade and I have to sxrub them with a brilliant pad. Not sure if it's the pods because it happened with other brands to.

I use a different brand that has a weekly cleaning strength but when subscribe and save time came around it was out of stock so I wanted to try a substitute because if I miss a week, you can tell. :( Now, I already use Cascade tablets so I was a little skeptical if this would do much -- but I was shocked! It's not that the inside of my machine looks dirty, but there is a wet dog smell in the glasses if I don't clean it often enough (and yes, I do clean the filter too.) But, this tablet really cleaned the machine! I haven't used the weekly tabs in 2 weeks and there is still no smell. (For me, an empty rinse agent compartment can also impact a smell, so I keep that filled too. Sharing in case anyone else is trying to get of the smell on glasses.) Update: 2 weeks is about the max I can go with this product before I need to clean it again. But still, that is twice as long as the other brand that I also use. I use them both interchangeably and everyone agrees, there is no smell to the glasses or machine.

I had tried citrus based dishwasher cleaners in the past, but they didn't seem to do much. I told myself that I didn't need to bother with a dishwasher cleaner- I rinsed my plates, cleaned the filter and wiped out the dishwasher regularly. But it seemed every time I ran the dishwasher, the filter would be nasty and greasy, and my dishwasher had an unplesant odor. I looked at a lot of cleaners, and selected Cascade. This product changed my mind about dishwasher cleaners! It has a pleasant odor, very easy to use, and it really works! I did have to use a second tablet to get rid of all the built up gunk, but now my dishwasher cleans like it is brand new, and my dishes are sparkling!

It works great, I have hard water ( lime scale) and it was getting really bad build up on sprayers. It only took 1 tablet to clean it and made it run like new again and also cleaned the screens inside. I do clean my dishwasher on regular basis as in screens and use rinse aid but this is the only thing that helped get the lime scale off. I had such bad build up it was like rocks so I didn't know if it would work or not but it's a great product and highly recommend it.

I never knew one is supposed to clean the dishwasher since it washes with soap and hot water when in use. I rarely use mine anyway, but I do run it periodically to keep it in working order. My sister requested boxes of this Cascade dishwasher cleaner for Christmas (we're very practical) and she swears by it. She uses her dishwasher almost daily and said it does smell "funky" now and then. I tried this myself and it really cleaned the water marks and some mild rust off the interior door, and geez is smells so good! It has a very pleasant scent. Before it had no smell but now smells clean. I'll use it to keep the machine running well.

Thought I was getting 1 pack that contained multiple use packs not just 1 pack for 17.99 Big RIP OFF to anybody.

Packaging misleading as it is not clear there is only one unit/tablet in it. Price is too high. Can get package with six units in it about $7/unit at other stores such as Walmart
