Needed gloves for work that I didn’t want to keep having to take off and put back on. These seem to fit the bill. We’ve had some bitterly cold mornings lately and I wore these the day after getting them. The fit is good but order a size larger because they run a little small. They kept my fingers warm for the most part though I did have some times when they did get cold after taking the mitten part off for about 10 minutes. The little magnets on them aren’t the best and the only reason I give em four stars. Overall a decent pair of gloves.

I've got a job in a place that's very very cold, and on this job I've gotta go around and check all kinds of different areas, to make sure nothing freezes. These areas are all locked and I've got a lot of keys. So while I'm going from here to there out in the cold, I turn these bad boys into mittens and my hands are nice and warm on the way. When I get to where I need to unlock the doors or whatever, boom glove mode and I'm handling the keys with no issues. If I happen to get a call or text from the boss or the wife, boom the thumb comes out to do the phone. Cover it all back up into mitten mode and you're warm and good to go. If you happen to have some kind of job similar to mine or can imagine having to switch from warm mode to using your fingers out in the freezing cold, these are the glove/mittens you are looking for. Listen to an old guy and spend the money, you'll be happy you did.

I wouldn't say I have large hands but man it the medium tight. Almost to the point of restricting blood flow. Also arent very good at keeping warm.

As a photographer in the field... these gloves do the job of keeping yours hands warm and fingers nimble. A quality glove at a comparable price.

High quality as expected for Carhartt. Fit is true to sizing. Bought for my son whom is a UPS driver. Allows to keep fingers warm but freedom to use a tablet when he needs his fingers out. Very comfortable and gripping allows for easy driving and no slippage while gripping the steering wheel
