Anything I plant in this stratum Thrives!! I’ve done a couple moss terrariums with different substrates (spaghnum, clay, and stratum) trying to decide which one I liked most, and the answer is sub stratum! Everything greens up immediately, and it just becomes a healthier looking plant. Quick growth, I had a couple newly rooted cuttings that got knocked out of their planter and were very stressed and sad. I popped them in a cup with this stratum and a day later you’d never even know something happened to them! I was really worried about doing the moss bc I didn't know what to expect, moss can’t tolerate fertilizers and I know very little about ‘proper’ substrate for it. But it’s so so happy, could be due to the container as all 3 are potted a little different but I think the micronutrients or beneficial bacteria are doing their jobs, making my job much easier!! When I'm done with these other few terrariums and small guys I’m gonna start bottom and top dressing all my plants with sub stratum, or using only this sub stratum for smaller pots. It’s a very good price, compared to the name brand that’s twice as much for the same amount. There’s also a listing for 4.4lbs for $2 more than this 8.8lb bag. I just came back to buy 3 more bags, not too much more expensive than.soil nowadays, and it’s far superior in almost every way.

Honestly some of the best substrate I've ever used. Awesome color. Nice size little rocks. Overall highly recommend.

It’s stratum, I mix with perlite to root some plants and it works great!

We use this in our terrariums where we have a lot of water that we still want things to grow in, because we don’t want a bunch of loose soil to permeate through the water, and we want green stuff to grow on top of it. This meets all the requirements

My plants love this stuff! Roots out the wazoo!! I’ve been using only stratum by itself but will mix with indoor potting soil and perlite to make my own mix to cut down on expenses. But this stuff is great!!!

This stuff is great for hydroponic plants! It really helps my plants start growing again because of the extra nutrition that is in this. I cut it with perlite and my plants are growing like crazy! Definitely recommend

I love this stuff. Perfect filter level in all my bioactive vivariums. No mold, no deteration, looks good too and easy to check you're not over doing it on the water.

I’ve used this product several times in bioactive vivariums for my reptiles but this was my first time buying from Amazon. It arrives bang on time, and was amazing quality - the same as if bought direct from the supplier. I used this also in my house plants in a potting mix for them too and it seems to keep my houseplants thriving as well! But pricey but definitely worth it I think

Ich finde es toll als Ergänzung zu meinen ohnehin bioaktiven Terrarien. Dort, wo Pflanzen stehen kommt ein kleiner Haufen drumherum, speichert sehr gut Feuchtigkeit, sieht toll aus...Die Frage ist wohl, ist es nötig? Weiß ich nicht. Es ist sauteuer, aber ich habe meinen Spaß an solchen Sachen!
