Update 1 year later: It's been running 24/7 for over a year now. No hardware issues at all. Runs Windows Server 2022 with Hyper-V no problems. Very thankful for this purchase. Photos uploaded showing it installed vertically in my home networking "nook". --- I've been looking to set up a home lab, so I spent days researching a good refurb Dell R630. This seemed to have everything I needed, plus it had the best price point of anything comparable I was considering. It didn't say it in the listing but mine did come with a PERC 730-mini RAID controller. The 2x SSD's were Samsung 1TB, and the remaining bays were filled with drive fillers so it had a nice look. I was excited to see it came with iDRAC 8 Enterprise which was a really sweet bonus. (Enables the virtual console feature.). Came with 2x power cables. The box it came in was pretty busted up on one corner (thanks FedEx), however the packaging inside the box was EXCELLENT so the server wasn't even close to getting hurt. After I pulled it out I popped the hood to look inside. It was extremely clean inside, ready to power up. I did have trouble with the VGA ports. (Thankful to have the virtual console feature, otherwise I would have been completely blocked to getting it up and running). Eventually the front one started working, but not sure what I did to make it work. ?? Checked the server logs and it looks like they updated everything to the latest BIOS's and got it fully reset. Ran the full diagnostic and all came back good. One of the power supplies had a weird error on it, but I think it was because I didn't plug it in at one point and it thought it was faulty. Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase! If you were like me and were searching around for a great refurb server purchase for your homelab, THIS is the real deal. Thanks!

I picked up a Dell PowerEdge R630 for my little home lab setup and honestly this thing is a straight powerhouse, like way more machine than I expected for the money and it fits exactly what I needed without any drama, it runs smooth, handles all my VMs and random projects without even sounding like it’s trying, and it just feels super reliable in that old-school Dell way where you know it’s gonna keep running forever, basically it hits every box I had in my head and then some.

It was actually pretty good.

shows its age, but does well enough for what it is, currently running 3 VMs and a few Docker containers on this with reasonable performance, decent chance I could improve this by tweaking raid settings. had a lot of difficulty getting up-to-date drivers for this.

Server arrived in excellent condition and matched the description. Installed in production about two weeks ago and has been running stable with no issues.

Purchased this to host friends on several games we like to play together without having to deal with the trolls out there. Great server that was exactly as advertised. Very clean and runs and looks like a new server. VMware ESXi 8.0u3 boots, installs and running without issue. I have always been wary about refurbished tech but this was a very good purchase for the price and great value for the money. Great storage capacity and can hold many games for me and my friends to play on.

I bought 2 Poweredge R630s. The servers arrived on time and they where very well packaged. They were both fully intact without any shipping damage. Both servers came with iDrac 8 Enterprise licenses which is a huge plus. Both servers arrived as described and each one had x2 1TB SSD drives, the rest of the drive bays had the empty spacers in them which is another plus. I inspected inside both servers and they both look brand new. The ones I purchased came with 128gb ram and the empty ram slots on each motherboard had the empty spacers too. The firmware was upgraded to the latest version as well. I am very satisfied with these two R630s and will definitely be buying more servers from the seller! A++++

Aunque ya tiene sus años (dispositivo usado), el servidor ofrece mucho valor por el precio pagado. Hubo necesidad de reemplazar sus unidades de almacenamiento y reinstalar el sistema operativo, pero una vez hecho eso funciona de maravilla.
