Marvel Studios Eternals 4K UHD [Blu-ray] [2021] [Region Free]

I purchased this and watched it many times. Just an awesome superhero movie. Star studded cast. All visuals crazy spot on. Is a must see if you like super hero's and villain's wrapped up in one movie. The storyline spans over centuries. The new Captain America movie references part of this one Celestria island.

Hmm, ok. Well, I WAS deterred from renting this- on all the negative reviews. And I thought this was probably one of those millenial barf-fests that I always abhore. Ok, I'm a Marvel fan but the last few things they did= I hated. New Mutants? Yuk! Dark Pheonix? Also Ugh! There is a lot to cover, character-wise, and I thought they did a good job. The Story- It's Good. It's not going to be in your top 50 anything, but it's totally worth a watch. The effects are good but CGI has kind of gotten to this 'overly-polished' state, which I don't care for. I didn't feel like I was waiting for it to end though I wasn't on pins and needles at any point either. It's a fair efffort. I wouldn't buy it- but I didn't regret renting it at 3 bucks- and I wouldn't watch it again, though I thought it was alright. Personally, the whole 'All-Inclusive' thing is kind of lame?! They seemed to have to have a character of every ethinicity and gender? This is overboard millenial crap that I hate. It's always Obvious and Forced and it probably turns off more people then it interests. When a company does that- it seems to detract from the content and just make it about representing every slice of people there are. Imagine if Bollywood started always including a Black person, a white person, a latino, an east asian, and someone of the 'not straight' community? Well, far as good as you'd think that That would go over- this is about the same. I don't need a movie to make a social statement every time I watch it- I just need it to be good. It's worth a go but not something note-worthy.

After you watch it you'll realize they gave away basically the one and only major plot twist in every trailer/preview for this movie. Disappointing and very predictable. They try hard to get you to feel something for certain characters but for me it wasn't even remotely there. Felt like the producers told the writers to get them a working script by the end of the month because it's a Marvel movie, so it's going to make millions even if it's trash. A jumbled mashup of non flowing segments squished into a predetermined runtime. If the ending leaves you with anything more than a "meh..." then you have really low expectations and standards. I felt more for some of the ancillary characters in Wandavision and Loki after 1 episode than I did any main character in Eternals. In closing... If it's free/included in a streaming service you already have and you're bored then it's not terrible to watch but if you're buying it or even just renting it (I'd say over $2.99) don't expect a lot of bang for your buck.

Enjoyed watching eternal and all marvel movies

Finally I'm going to put my two cents in, concerning the much maligned Eternals movie. The Bad reviews started way before its initial release, and I'm not sure how anyone that doesn't at least have some history with the original comic , could form an honest objective opinion concerning it. Is it great? By no means. Is it terrible? Absolutely not. In fact I enjoyed it, in all its flawed glory. I'm a comic fan, and particularly a Marvel comic fan , but when it comes to the big screen , I actually somewhat agree with Scorsese. They are really not cinema , in the sense of actual stories, characters with depth etc. They are kind of like watching a video game with just a touch of soul, to have you relate to the characters at least on some level. The characters are pretty one dimensional, and that's fine, but man these movies get old fast. For me at least Eternals was interesting and seems to be an attempt at a somewhat new direction. It definately helps to have some knowledge of the original Kirby comic. Although many of the characters look quite different , you will at least have a better sense of what the Eternals are, and some historical sense of the comic. When I heard that Marvel was doing the Eternals , I was kind of shocked. Although much of the art from the original comics was quite impressive , the original stories never seemed adequately fleshed out. I won't go to deep into any of it, or tell you how I think the new Eternals comic is excellent etc. I would just like to say, if your into the whole Marvel Universe , or comics, give the film a chance , draw your own opinion . I think it's fairly decent , with some cool ideas and definately some well done moments. It's a bit long, and kind of a mess, but hey, so is life. Especially if your an Eternal.

La película me gusta, no es la mejor, pero me dio mucho gusto ver a Salma junto a otros héroes de marvel, la imagen es buena, no puedo ver todavía el disco de 4k, pero sí tiene audio y subtítulos en español latino, y muy buen precio.

Perfeito.
