Fun, Awesome, Cute, Amputees
"Super fun, though I don't know that we've ever managed to get a robot out of the mold 100% intact. Those tiny hands are just impossible. Keys are no problem, though. So we don't use them as much as we'd hoped, but when we do, there's a nice glassful of floating robot parts, so that's charming in it's own gruesome way." - Kate Q"The price of this item in my care did flux a bit. +/- a dollar every other day. When I went to order something else it was on the lower flux and I grabbed it. This product is ace. Creates fun ice cubes and comes in an informative and fun back age if for a friend or gift. They make the ice cubes and could be used for large gummy worm like creations. Love the design and food quality. Package info states food grade silicon good at temps -40s to hotter than I can cook (sent package to recycling before writing review review for accurate numbers) great for a one off, but a bit pricy to grab multiple unless you are a lover of insects or are great for kids. I like the larger thin ice cubes it makes, helps keep the cubes from melting as fast as normal ice cubes (these create less surface temp and will slowly shrink compared to reg ice cubes, but this is only for a short period)Over all, worth grabbing one. Very happy with mine. Recommended to anyone and everyone." - Shanrose"worked surprisingly well as a soap mold. I fill the batter in the spikes and place the mold on top of a loaf mold to make indentations," - Maggie's Mom"This ice cube tray makes ice cubes that look like icicles or ice spikes.PROS:- Insanely cute! Great to serve at parties- Ice freezes quickly because each "spike" is small- Made from silicone (so it's nontoxic and doesn't have an icky plastic smell)- Makes a great gift- In addition to freezing water, you can also freeze fruit juice to make fun colors of iceCONS:- The ice cubes are small, so they melt quickly, even if your water or juice is already cold- Like all silicone products, it's flexible. You need to put it on a plate or cutting board before placing the water-filled tray in your freezer." - Lisa M. Snow"I wanted ice that would fit well in the family's various thermos funtainers and hydration bottles, but most of the ice trays I looked at had no rim around the pieces of ice, or even around the edge of the tray. I picked the chillipede tray just because of the raised edge around each piece of ice. These "cubes" are a great size, big enough to really cool down your drink, but slender enough to fit easily in our thermos bottles. The raised edge around each chillipede means I can fill the tray, carry it to the freezer, and set it on top of the eggos to freeze without spilling. The ice doesn't have any gross plastic taste." - E. Van Der Scratchy"Practical? Ehhhh, not so much. It makes a few small robot-flavored ice cubes. I find the silicone a little floppy, so I manage to always spill some water between the sink and the freezer. The ice is cute, if anyone notices them. A little warm water over the back of the tray and they pop out pretty easily. But you need a lot of them to stock a party. I just try to stockpile these robots over a couple of days, and then mix them in with the standard cubes in the ice bucket. The fact that there are unusual shapes mixed in probably makes them just a little bit more noticeable when people are fishing for cubes from the bucket." - R. Klein"These trays don't work. They're clever, but impractical. The molds are too intricate to get the icebots out intact. The result is frozen amputees and floating limbs in your drink."This is kind of a conversation starter, except the conversation tends to start with "Can't you do anything right? Even your ice is a failure!" - Dave Edmiston"I got these so I could have filtered water ice cubes. They are cute and fun! You can bite each little section off if you want. I bought an extra to send to my nephews since they love bugs. They come out easy since the silicone is flexible, but this is also a negative: It can be a challenge to get the tray to the freezer without spilling water. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet they would fit in a water bottle for travel." - Donna"Awesome...in theory. The mold is too rigid and the hands are too delicate to unmold without breaking them. I tried making ice cubes and they broke every time. I also tried chocolate and it wasn't any better. The detail is really great but the hands are just too fragile." - Maack Family"Soft silicon mold makes it easy to get ice cubes out. Love the robots and red was a perfect color for a Christmas gift. It was well received and has no apparent problems." - A. E. Dominguez

Just what I needed
I used this for a mold for epoxy resin. Worked great, used a little mold release on it, but that may not even be necessary since it's silicon. The tip is sometimes hard to remove and may break off, careful handling after cast.

Muy bien
El acabado es excelente, las figuras igual, en las imagenes no se ven muy bien ya que debido al calor se derritieron muy rapido.
