VHS RECORDER AND DVD PLAYER (Renewed)

The unit shipped with an mini AV to HDTV converter. Tried on two TVs and would not work. I purchased a RASFOX AV to HDNI converter and the VHS/DVD player worked on both TVs. The RASFOX is sold on AMAZON and is good quality and works.

The item was like new and came with all the necessary equipment rca cable hdmi cable and remote. It worked great. The only negitive is that the device did not have and hdmi port as advertised. It did not impact anything because it works just fine with the rca cable they did include a hd video converter

Worked initially. Didn't use it for 8 months now nothing works. Turn it on it turns off by itself. When on, the CD drawer won't open. When on, the vcr will only play audio no video.

This player came in perfect condition. Easy to use.

I was impressed that the unit was securely packed. However, there was damage to side rear corner. This damage is shown on included photo. This may have been caused due to the remote being wrapped too tightly to the unit, and the damage was under the remote. Otherwise, everything looked brand new. In about thirty minutes I was viewing my DVD's and VHS movies. Very happy with the purchase and impressed that service is available by phone. I have access to the user manual and a 90 day warranty. The damaged corner is not visible from the location, so all is well.

I feel it's important give an honest review on this product. I received this product Friday (2 days ago) and everything was well packaged and all items included as expected. Unfortunately upon power up, the unit immediately returned an error C003 which indicates a mechanical failure, often related to the loading motor, tape transport mechanism, or tape tension. This also happens intermittently as I put in the VHS tape. Without going into troubleshooting details, the unit eventually started playing and functioned as it should. The problem is that it seems that there is some intermittent problem with the VHS mechanism. I have not tested the dvd which I most likely will not be using. I believe the seller has refurbished this product, tested the product and took great care in packaging. I also believe this product was sold in good faith. Along with this product is documentation giving the buyer contact information in the case that product is defective or breaks. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the product is slightly defective. I would not hold this against the refurbisher. The problem with ordering something like this, is that the technology is so old that even with a full refurbishment, there is a high probability something might be wrong with the unit. Of course, I will be reaching out this coming week to see what can be done. Depending on the service, I will be updating this review.

I have gone through four VCRs, this is the first one that actually works. They clearly know what they're doing. It was packaged well and they included a remote and cords - I didn't need them but appreciated it just the same. Good work.

Reproductor VHS DVD Toshiba; No funciona el DVD, no sale el porta DVD se queda atorado, y no regresa así está prendiendo y apagando, lástima por el precio que no es barato, no lo regresaré, prefiero llevarlo yo,, arreglar, ya no confío en mandarlo. Aunque tenga garantía

Fonctionne très bien présentement

Found a lot of old vhs tapes in cleanup. Now have a chance to play them. Nostalgia at its best. DVD is bonus.
