I’m just a regular user who decided to skip the "sophisticated" electronic devices and go with this Medi Grade syringe instead. My local Urgent Care uses this exact type of primitive tool when they don’t have to use a fancy machine, and if it’s good enough for the doctors, it’s good enough for me. ​I’ve found that a manual syringe is much better because you have total control over the pressure. My routine is simple: I use this syringe for the heavy-duty deep cleaning and then alternate with standard cotton swabs for daily maintenance. It’s medical grade, reliable, and much more effective than any high-tech vacuum or camera kit I’ve seen. ​What worked for me: If your wax is stubborn, don't try to force it all out at once. I learned that it’s best to use a softener (like oil) for a few days first, then use this syringe with lukewarm water. I aim the stream at the walls of the ear canal rather than straight back at the eardrum—it’s much more comfortable and actually clears the blockage faster.

This worked well for us. I wasn't certain at first that the nozzle would provide a forceful-enough spray to dislodge the boulder of earwax from my child's ear canal, but it did. Painlessly, too, with no damage to her canal. We were grossed out and horrified by our results, but also happy and relieved of our mutual (iykyk) suffering. There was no leakage from the syringe or tip. That said, this is messy business and I strongly recommend using an ear basin. I'm going to wash the parts with soap and water, then sanitize with alcohol. These look endlessly reusable if cleaned well.

I had a very stubborn clog in my left ear, and this didn't clear it alone. However, using Peroxide and flushing with this product for a few days, my ear is now normal, with each application and flush improving my condition twice a day. It works well to clean inside the ear in general I think! Recommended, although depending on how bad the clog is, don't expect it to solve the problem without peroxide or another alternative!

Works as good as the doctor's office. I'd use an ear wax softener for four days and then this. It's safe to use with exit holes that lead the water to the sides of your ear canals and not directly into the canal. This has never failed me and I suffer from extreme wax issues, unfortunately.

No more blue bulbs for me. The design if this this is ingenious. The ol' blue bulb has a single stream of water that ends up on your eardrum, and it's hard to get to the sidewalls of the canal. This thing distributes the water towards the sides of the canal very effectively. My ears have been so cocked that I couldn't hear and within a day, using this device, they were clear. I took off one star due to the size of the syringe. Still haven't figured out what the medical industry has such an obsession with small the volume syringes. This is only 25mm. So plan on refilling it several times to get a thorough flush. To refill it you either pull out the plunge or take off the colored tip and draw water in that way. That got to be a huge pain. Also, being so small, one has a tendency to pull push hard, creating a strong stream of water which can irritate the canal. Also, such force can cause the tip to come off in your ear so be careful. I paired the tips with a 60mm plus irrigation syringe and can get a great flushing on one fill. Would I buy it again? Sure, but with 3 tips I won't have to. The blue bulb has gone bye-bye.
