Love it!
oh man I love this thing, its a bit of a tight fit for internal storage when using cr123s, so they will not drop out freely. But its waterproof, it does exactly what it says it does, and I have not been able to break it over the past few months so I think its pretty high quality and durable.

Perfect place to keep batteries dry!
Had a question about the product and almost immediately got a response back from the company, which i absolutely love. It fits my CR2 batteries, and is perfect for my hunting backpack kit

Military grade battery storage case.
Thyrm CellVault is one of the most heavy duty battery cases you'll ever use. It's well built and virtually indestructible. Before you buy one, just make sure you order the correct size for the battery you want to store.

Quality upgrade for your kit
These are somewhat expensive for what they are, but it’s definitely a worthwhile piece of storage if you’re wanting something small to keep on your kit for some additional battery storage. I have one on my plate carrier now offset to my magazine pouches and its small enough that it’s out of the way, but easily accessible if I need to swap batteries on the fly. It’s perfect for that, the orange spacer was useless in my experience, probably just because I use 18650 and cr123 batteries. That said, I highly recommend these, it’s a better solution than taping batteries or having them loose in a pouch, ziplock or pack.

Convenient and portable
This is the third Thyrm CellVault I’ve purchased in 4 years. The other two is a XL and the smaller single stack. The first two I mounted on my tac gear while as a LE with the feds. Had the XL on my ballistic vest plate carrier and the single stack one on my platform belt. I usually kept CR123, AA, and AAA batteries handy because, running out of juice right before an op is tactically bad. I always had multiple sources of flashlights whether mounted on firearms or handheld types. Always checked that they were functioning and bright. On more than a few occasions I had to swap out batteries or “loan” some to fellow teammates. Never got those batteries back lol. I’m retired now but during the 2 years I had the Thyrm CellVaults in use while in the wild-wild west, I never had a wet battery nor have the case deploy accidentally even after getting into a scuffle with a wanted perp we were arresting. Now, do I believe the CellVault could accidentally open while mounted to gear? Absolutely but, things do happen and one needs to be thoughtful with placement of any gear or device on their person. This thing has come in extremely handy on more than a few occasions and I keep a couple on my now post retirement tactical if SHTF gear and my hiking gear, which the photo shows mounted on a first aid pouch I carry while hiking. I mounted it towards my front since I would most likely fall backwards and I used a little rubber band to help keep it from popping open completely if I fall just right (see photo). I believe the little loop hole at the bottom was designed so you can secure it better but who knows? I keep spare rubber bands in my pouch along with extra Ranger bands in various sizes for the occasional breakage or it flew off and disappeared amongst the dry leaves. I hate that when it happens lol. Personally I think the Thyrm CellVault is about $10s overpriced but, at least it’s not a fake knockoff. If they dropped the price about 30-35 percent, I think they’ll gain more customers and put a hurting to the fraudsters but, what do I know, I’m just a simple guy giving them good reviews lol. Be safe out there…

Worth the price
Super handy for battery storage in the military. CR 123s and AAs are a necessity out in the field and I was looking for a solution to keep extra batteries but didn’t need a whole pelican case worth of spares. This fit the bill and keeps the batteries out of the elements with a O-ring to seal it off. Clip it to a vest, belt, bag etc. Pro-tip carry some cotton balls inside and use electrical tape to cover the ends of your batteries so they don’t discharge any of their power.

Smaller than I expected
I was initially surprised by the actual size of the thing as I was expecting it to be a bit bigger than it actually was but that's by no means a bad thing. I did a few tests just to see how it functions and it will lock securely shut and keep it's contents dry but I wouldn't try to keep it submerged for an extended period of time. One small thing I did notice is at least with AAA batteries is they will still rattle around inside and create minimal noise unless you were to stuff something like cotton balls or balled up pieces of cloth to completely eliminate any noise and further ensure that the contents stay dry.

The best one going
These are awesome battery cases! They are waterproof and very well-made. They are made for different types of batteries and function extremely well. The only drawback I see is they are a bit pricey.
