Can this be used to re-ink typewriter ribbon?

No. Typewriter ribbon will be typed over. It's used once and thrown away; you also can't rebound typewriter ribbon, so I have no idea how you think you'll be able to rewind it...

Can you use this product on fabric? If so, do you have to heat set it?

Archival permanent ink can be stamped onto fabric from an Archival Stamp Pad, never used a reinker to apply ink to fabric before. Wash the fabric first to remove the sizing and then test a corner of the fabric before stamping your image. After the image dries, heat setting is okay, but never read where it is required. Suggest you test that on your test piece of the fabric. 100% cotton will fade over time, however, cotton blends will hold color longer.

Does this ink work with alcohol markers?

No, you need memento ink to work with alcohol markers. The ranger ink is awesome with brush pens and watercolors, but not alcohol ink markers.

I use stayz on black ink. is archival ink the correct re-inker for stayz on or is there a stayz on re-inker too that i haven't found yet?

Good Morning Linda, The Staz-On ink pad is a different pad than Archival. Staz-On can stamp onto glass and plastic, where archival can stamp onto these mediums but will smudge-meaning it will never full dry. If you are having a hard time finding a re-inker for the Staz-On in pad, I might be able to help you. :)

Perfect for Refill

I use this to refill my stamp pad. It is a great black color and dries pretty quickly. I would call this high quality. You don’t need much to fill an ink pad so even though it looks small it is lasting quite a long time.

Takes longer to dry than my ColorBox archival ink but it looks pretty good so that’s all that matters!! ☺️ This was more cost-effective than buying new pads.

Permanent ink to refill Ranger ink pad.

I bought it to work with the Ranger indelible ink pad, so I know it will come in useful. I already know some projects that I want to use it wit as I'm a watercolorist, this is necessary for stay put images.
