Slow but effective
Easy to use - I mix a packet of powder in a milk gallon jug and pour part of the liquid into a spray bottle and store the rest. Each packet makes a gallon. Unlike Ortho Nutsedge Killer, it takes several weeks before the nutsedge actually turns brown and dies, but more importantly the nutsedge won't spread; Ortho kills the nutsedge in 2 or 3 days. Atticus Empero uses a different pesticide - halosulfuron (the same as used in Sedgehammer) - vs sulfentrazone used in Ortho. Both are effective but Ortho costs more. Update: This season I made the mistake of overwatering my lawn and the nutsedge came back. I now just pour the solution from my milk bottle directly on where I see the nutsedge. They turn brown in a few days, much quicker than by spraying. For a large area, I just douse the whole area. This doesn't harm the grass and keeps them from spreading. This method is not too costly and is effective. Also: Mature nutsedge takes longer to die; be patient.

As good or better than SedgeHammer.
This was the first time using the Atticus Empero brand of Nutsedge killer. I have to say this worked much better than the SedgeHammer I have used in the past. It did a wonderful job knocking out the nutsedge but it did seem to be a little harder on my regular grass. I may have also applied it when it was a little too warm.

Very effective on controlling Nutsedge
Very Effective. Reasonably quick too. I had nutsedge growing through the rocks and barrier on my flower beds and also on the lawn. It didn't kill my St Augustine grass but I was very careful not to overspray. The nutsedge starts to yellow after a day or so. After a week they are dried up and dead. I used a gallon pump sprayer and sprayed the weeds directly. I used one small package to one gallon water ratio. Great Product! Good Luck.

Nutsedge control
It works very slowly but that is a good thing. Nutsedge growth stops within a few days but takes a week or more to turn brown.

This works
First product to eliminate my nutsedge. Turns it yellow first, then brown, eventually it dies. Impatient me - gave it a second dose as it was not happening fast enough and I may have applied too much as it also browned grass in a few areas (think this was because of me). Curious to see if it pops up next year.
