Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition By Ariana Grande Eau De Parfum, 1.7 Fl Oz

I rated this a 5 SOLEY because that the price was discounted and the perfume IS authentic!HOWEVER, Amazon (since this was shipped and sold by Amazon) should have let us know as buyers as to WHY these perfumes were discounted when this perfume is a discontinued limited edition that's EXTREMELY hard to find and if you do find, it's EXTREMELY expensive.They have this perfume on discount because these were either all the reject bottles at the manufacturer or they were returned perfumes but since we're all having the same issues, I'm pretty sure these are all the imperfect perfumes they couldn't sell at full market value.As a celebrity perfume collector/enthusiast, I've dealt with this many times. Perfume manufacturers DO NOT like to waste money, so any 'defective' or 'rejected' bottles of perfume, this can be something petty like the chip paint on the bottle (that's gonna happen eventually to any of the bottles), the print stamping got smeared, or the perfume leaks if upside down, etc. So whatever doesn't sell in the licensed retailers department stores, THEY HAVE TO return EVERY unsold perfume back to the manufacturer, they then resell them to discount licensed perfume retailers such as fragranceX.com, and then they sell all their rejects at an actual discount cost to 3rd party selling sites such as Amazon, Walmart.com, sears.com, kohls.com, etc KNOWING they are buying perfumes that were found to have some type of imperfection. Most of the time these 3rd party sites will tell you that it's an imperfect bottle but at the end of the day, it's an authentic bottle and I ended up buying 6 boxes so now I'm gonna resale my 5 other boxes for $100+ because people will pay that even if it's a reject bottle. As long as it's authentic and sealed in the box, most people won't care.

I am a huge fan of Ariana Grande and her fragrances. I was really happy that I managed to get the limited edition version of sweet like candy!Upon first spray, you can definitely smell the amber and red berries first with a slight warm powdery musk hint to it. As it dries down, It heavily smells like whipped cream and marshmallow with a hint of Frangipani while the amber, red berries, and warm musk remains. This perfume feels like something you would wear in a professional setting or simple day day-to-day wear as It really has a mature smell to it. The longevity lasts a pretty long time (About 5 to 6 hours) and the sillage is moderately soft. The only complaint I would have for this is that I wish the sillage was bigger and they had this in 3.4 oz!Now here is my comparison to the original Sweet like candy (Pink bottle).In my opinion, excluding Frankie, Sweet like candy is my least favorite fragrance out of her entire perfume line. For me it does not smell sweet at all and instead smells like sour candy, the Blackberry really ruins it for me. The sillage and longevity is very poor and does not last as long compared to the limited edition version. I never bothered to get the limited edition based upon many reviews saying that they both smelled exactly the same and that it was a waste of money to get the limited edition perfume but I disagree. They may have a few similar notes but they have very different smells, sillage, and longevity. The limited edition version lacks blackberry and smells sweeter compared to the original version for me.If anyone is having trouble finding/buying this perfume a similar perfume smell can also come from spraying both Ari by Ariana Grande and Sweet like candy together, Endless kisses by Ponytail Princess, or Our moment by One direction as these smell almost identical to the limited edition! Ok, I love Ariana Grande perfumes.I’m a big fan of her, and I now have all the perfumes except REM and Frankie. This perfume is definitely not strong. The longevity sucks, it won’t last more than twenty minutes. I was disappointed with the bottle as well, it was scratched and leaked. Th scent smells like a mix of Sweet Like Candy and Ari, it definitely is not as sweet or strong as Sweet Like Candy. The perfume is plain, small, scratched, leaked, and even the box was scratched. The perfume smells pretty good, but I would but the normal Sweet Like Candy instead. If you want to save money and collect her perfume, be my guest. It isn’t like the perfume smells bad, but you know what I mean.

i love ariana sm and i collect her perfumes and every version of them. it goes out of stock quickly and is super hard to find, so buy this when you can, as the price is amazing compared to most people selling sweet like candy limited. you may know that the normal sweet like candy bottle chips and scratches really easily, and this one doesnt. shipping was great, although it took kind of a while to arrive, but that was only because of bad weather and road conditions in my area. this smells amazing, you can definitely still smell the normal slc in it, but it's different. i love this soso much and it's taken me a while to finally get it, but i did and i don't regret it! buy this if you can!

If you like sweet scents this is for YOU!!! This still has the original sweet like candy scent but I feel like this one is a bit more appropriate for a mid 20s person to wear. It smells like delicious berries 😋 and creamy but not too overpowering where it can give you a headache

This perfume smelled so good! The packaging is so cute, but yes inside the box is like red stained, but it’s not a big deal since you won’t see it from the outside. So glad I snagged it before it sold out!

The scent is SO ME. I ljbe it. Like sweet persimmons mixed with cotton candy, marshmallow, and whipped cream. Spillage is a little lacking. But I still love it and would buy more.

i wasn’t able to get it when it was originally released, happy i was able to find it. love that it smells sweet, and lasts a couple hours. i think it smells the same as the original slc, just a little more fruity.
