We had pipe hammer in our washing machine line. I installed one in each line (hot & cold). This definitely cured the problem.

Too much restriction, not enough flow, removed it. Waste of money.

I have used this over the summer and so far it's been very good. I have seen these for cheaper, that's why I didn't give a 5 for value.

Definately not worth the.money if only some of them work
