High Quality - Real Thing
These are as close are you will get to the originals. Well made. Seams, seal gasket, hinges, all good. Perfect for any length of term storage and air/water tight. The .50 caliber cans made by the same company are just as good. You will not find a better can, I've looked all over, these are great and made to hold heavy metal items inside of your choosing.

Perfect carrying case for your valuables
Got this box as a carrying case for my telescope camera and it's a perfect fit. Good quality box and the color is nice. It's well built and the handle is comfortable. Durable paint that's easy to clean and functions as expected. Overall very pleased with the purchase and value.

Good
Great for my intended use, as described, solid construction. Pricey, though.. found one like it at a brick and mortar store for half the price, but I had already "installed" this one by then Now the real review: I bought this to use as a "saddle bag" for my mini motorcycle, in order to do this I had to diy a "bag hanger" out of some aluminum bars. Unfortunately, due to the side I decided to put it on, if you open the ammo can all the way the lid slides off it's hinges and falls to the ground. I'm certain this is a standard design, but it can't be moved to the other side, so for me it kind of sucks. The 30 cal cans are small, I thought it would be a little wider, but I'm not a gun nut and the measurements seemed okay online. It does look good to me though.

Decent can - price is OK but
Decent can, built OK and the price is decent. I removed one star for the *ridiculous* full sized brand decal that Fortress slaps on the sides of these cans for some bizarre reason. The decals usually come off in one piece (usually) but leave a nice layer of glue under that you then have to spend 15 minutes getting off with alcohol. Fortess, why not just save the cost of the decal and NOT put a ridiculouly large decal on the side of the can?

Simple and Effective
Perfect for your everyday ammo needs. I use this to store ammo in a closet, and to take to the range. Underneath the lid is a gasket which seals the can nicely! Threw in a few silica packets to keep it dry, and I haven't had any issues with it yet. Closes securely, I haven't had it pop open randomly which is nice. It's an ammo can. It's solid. I'd buy it again too!

These are just as good quality as the used surplus ones. They are also new and don't smell of the typical unknown chemicals etc that previously were loaded into the surplus ones...these appear to be made overseas and therefore are not authentic but the are compatible with the surplus ones. Mine stacks nicely with them and is water proof. I tested it submerged in my laundry sink...no leaks. These are good for storing bolts, nuts and screws etc and they look a lot cooler than cheap plastic bins. I wouldn't store food in them as i don't know the composition of the paint they are painted with. I'm currently transforming one into a first aid kit to keep in my jeep.
