Exceptional Customer Service
I purchased this device about 18 months ago. It has worked very well and provides temp., humidity, radon, air quality information. This was very helpful during a large addition to our house. The information is accessible on the easy to use app. and stores trending data. The unit is inconspicuous and easily movable to monitor different areas of the house. This provided insight on radon levels if different areas. Surprisingly the basement did not show the highest levels. Radon levels fluctuate quite a bit depending on location, tepm., and the amount of ventilation present. This was very eye opening and useful.Recently I noticed that part of the LED display was degraded. This is not a bit deal since the app is the best way to access the information. I contacted Airthings via chat on their website and got an immediate response. They asked me to upload pictures, and by the next day offered to replace the unit. This was customer service I've not seen from any company in a very long time. The company offers to extend the warranty to 5 years on their website if you register your purchase. I had not done this so technically I was out of warranty. They went the extra mile and replaced the unit for a defect that did not affect the overall function. Again this was top notch service.I would highly recommend Airthings products and the company based on my experience.

Essential gear if your home has radon issues. Looks great, works great.
I've used the Corentium radon monitor for years and have been very happy with it. Simple, accurate (I calibrated it against a professional unit). I believe Airthings now owns Corentium. As a complement to the standalone, single-function Corentium monitor, I decided to try this Airthings View radon monitor for the added functionality of being integrated with an app, which allows remote monitoring and alarms. The View monitor also tracks temperature and humidity, which is valuable when we're away from home and need to make sure the heating/cooling system is working. The View monitor looks great and is super simple to set up. The app is simple enough to use and stores plenty of history if you're trying to monitor variations in radon levels. The monitor plugs into a standard USB charger, but it also has backup batteries so it continues to operate through power outages or if you just want to move the monitor. Great device for anyone who needs to monitor temperature and humidity while away from home, and essential gear for anyone living in radon-prone areas (especially so if you have a radon mitigation system, since this monitor will let you know if the system stops functioning correctly). Essential health protection at a very reasonable price from a company I trust. And it looks great.

Improved from earlier model
Installed without difficulty. Seems stable and reasonably accurate (comparing results to testing service). App retains information. Batteries last at least a year.

Easy to set up, a bit complicated to get full measurements
Since I am spending more time in my basement, I decided I wanted to know more about the radon level there. Several years ago, when the house was rented, a one month radon test was done that indicated above standards radon level, so a radon mitigation system was put in. Lately I have been spending more time in the basement, so I decided I wanted more info on the radon levels. There are less expensive radon monitors, but because of the reputation and history of this company, it is the one I chose. Setup is simple, though you don't get immediate readings for radon (though you do for temperature and humidity. You have to wait 3 days to get radon values. When they started showing up on the monitor, the levels increased over the next few days, but were in the safe range. Since I have a science background, I also wanted to see the detailed maeasurements. Airthings has both an app and a web site (called the Airthings Dashboard). Both are needed to get all the information from the meter. The app gives 1, 7 and 30 day average values, the Dashboard gives graphs over various periods. Since I don't have any other monitors to compare with I can't say how this compares in accuracy or ease of use to other systems, but this seems to be working well and indicates my radon mitigation system is working.

Accurate radon measurements
Great device that accurately measures radon, temperature, and humidity. The connection through wifi to the phone app is great and the app is super easy. The effectiveness of the new radon fan's installation could be monitored throughthe device and app.
