The Sinkshroom fits perfect and looks and works great! It keeps any and everything, except liquids, from going down your drain, especially hair! I highly recommend it.

First I need to say that I'm not the type of person to provide reviews on products, so with me doing this, it must be a really good product. It is one of those that I've told all my family and friends about.Likes: If your sink gets clogged easily because of hair, you should buy this hair catcher, it is great! You have to remove your sink stopper, but then this just pushes down into the drain and you pull it out to clear the hair from it. Very easy to clean. The hair wraps around the far end of the silicone core and you just pull it off and reinsert the catcher in the drain. My sink runs clear all the time now. I purchased the silver colored one and although the top is painted plastic, it looks nice in the sink. It is bigger than the stopper in our other sink, but it doesn't bother me. It looks like one of those oversized stoppers that they tend to sell more of today. The core feels to be a silicone type material. You can get the catcher is different colors to match your faucet.Disadvantage: You do have to remove your stopper from the sink permanently, as long as you want to use this product. It wasn't a big deal for myself, since we have a double sink vanity. If I need to stop up a sink, I can always stop up the other sink.

I wanted to like this more because the color is perfect with my sink. It fits in easily and does the job. But, the flat top and only two supports make it very easy to dislodge if it's brushed with a washcloth or sponge. I ended up buying the upgraded stainless steel version instead, and that stays in place much better.

This works exactly as the product describes. A truly great idea and great execution. We had a tub shroom first and it worked so well I decided to get a sink shroom as well.There is no way to verify the percentage of hairs these products actually catch, but I can tell you that it catches the vast, vast majority of hairs before they go down the drain. It does need to be emptied/cleaned every day or two or you will get some reduced drainage, but that is because it catches an incredible amount of hair.Works well on 1-3 inch dog hair as well. just be warned that it has the same smell as rubber dog toys, so our dog likes to pull it out of the tub and leave it in random places in the house. I'd be upset, but it is kind of hilarious to find the tub shroom all over the house.Great product. I recommend it to everyone.

This does the job of catching hair that would otherwise fall down the sink, but not without a downside, at least in my drain. I have an ordinary sink which is 30 years old, so not new, but it has a standard sized drain. This gadget fits down inside it fine, but the water doesn't drain out of the sink fast enough so it pools and frankly that's gross when I'm brushing my teeth. It does drain, just doesn't empty the sink speedily. While it catches hair, it isn't effective catching other things I noticed. I dropped a pill which fell down the drain and even though I carefully removed the plug hoping to retrieve it, the pill just fell off and on down the drain. If you dropped a contact, you'd have to wait for all the water to drain out of the sink and oh, so carefully remove this plug and pray. Even pushing it down into the drain all the way won't keep a contact from slipping under the bowed rim.I've also tried to push it down fully compressing the tabs on either side to supposedly plug the drain, but that doesn't work as it doesn't create a solid stopper. I've fiddled with it endlessly trying to find a position where it allowed the water to drain properly, but to no avail.I do appreciate that it's a cleaner alternative to the groddy old plug that was in the sink from the beginning, and can even be washed and refreshed as needed,. I've learned to reduce the water flow considerably which allows the water to drain and not pool in the sink, and I suppose that's good too, but I wouldn't rebuy this item. Perhaps for newer (or older) units, or just a different sink style, it's perfect, but not for me. I'll continue to use it until I find something better.

It fits in standard bathroom sink once plug removed. can be stained overtime by pipes etc.sometimes it slows water too much, but better than losing an earring down the drain.

My previous metal mushroom got clogged with soap and required a toothbrush to clean it. This one not only is the perfect fit the silicone won’t disintegrate! Great idea for preventing clogs from hair, has not required cleaning except to remove hair.Price is worth it!

It might be a fine product, but just not for my drain. I use the flexible Schroom in my bathtub and it's pretty good.

Me encantó! Es totalmente funcional! La tapita viene tipo cromada por lo que se ve súper bien y cumple con la función de atrapar el cabello y evitar que se tape el lavabo. Para mí el plus es que evita que salgan cucarachas ya que tapa perfecto el tubo!! Lo recomiendo totalmente!
