As a first time PC owner, I bought this to set my own PC and had some doubts as I had no prior knowledge to things like this. This video card is over kill for most of my work load which is primarily doing photo restoration and video compilations. I rarely do any gaming. I also do a lot of genealogy work and this card is very fast, colour accurate and runs everything without any glitches or down time.
