CMB 2-in-1 Rechargeable Camping Lantern Solar Flashlight Emergency Lantern with USB Power Bank (Black)

This is a CMB solar lantern / flashlight. (I took a few closeup photos to give you a sense of size and functionality. Let me know if you find them helpful.)I got this lantern because my family already has a lantern of this type which we absolutely love. It’s so handy and useful that we decided to get another one. I love that it can be solar charged and doesn’t need to use traditional batteries. It charges easily by just putting it out in the sun during the day. It holds it’s charge in storage for a long time. (On arrival, the product still had a charge that lasted through the shipment.)It has two sets of handles which are strategically positioned so you can use it as a flashlight or lantern. While the handles fold down and make it streamlined, it would be nice to have more substantial ergonomic handles. You press a button to use the flashlight option. If you wish to use the lantern, you extend the lantern upward so it opens up. It works well when you are walking with a group of people because it casts light in all directions and not just your path of walking. And it works even better if you use both lights simultaneously. I always get comments from other people who end up walking with us. The best part… no batteries!

Big thing do came in small packages! The CMB 2-in-1 Rechargeable Camping Lantern Solar Flashlight Emergency Lantern is a great example. Don’t let this little guy deceive you because it pack A LOT more then you’ll expect. Its was quickly charged by the usb cord it came with and was ready for action. It has two way to light your area, with a little handle, you can carry it as a flash light, and it dose light your way bright and strong, or, by pulling up the top of it, it will light the area as a lantern, bright and strong. I have to admit, I was surprised by the amount of light this little guy was giving. And , if you are out camping, leave it out of your tent during the day, the the solar panel on the top of it will recharge your lantern and get it ready for the next night activities.I will highly recommend it to any outdoor, camping or night hiking person, you would love it just like I do!

I don't understand how anyone could say anything postive about this product. I have tried four of them, and each one failed after a few days or after a max of two weeks. Fortunately, Amazon's return and credit process is easy and efficient. Why four? I really wanted this to work--it is a great idea to have a two-in-one lamp and flashlight that is solar powered. However the idea is good but the quality of the product is horrible. It is really just junk.

I was iffy at first with the mixed reviews about the life of this lantern. I'm glad I purchased it. It does not come with instructions but it's pretty self-explanatory. We used it for outdoor and indoor. It's bright and lights up without being harsh or straining on the eyes. The red light indicates that its charging via solar power or if you plug it in. It won't ever show a fully charged color or anything like that but it's not a deal breaker for me. We've had it turned on for more than 8 hours and it was still going. We just simply prop it up by our window to charge and it works. As far as charging a cellphone goes, it works best if you use the provided android charger it comes with vs your original android phone's charger as it will only charge for a few seconds. That's the only downfall. So don't rely on that when you're out camping.

Bought 2 of these lanterns and at first I thought they were ok for the money but now I just noticed that neither of them charge with solar, the red light comes on making you think it’s charging but they don’t. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and wait to long to to make sure that it works properly.

One of the lanterns does not close well and the inner light sometimes is left lid, but overall they both work well and charge well with sunlight. We used them on our camping trip and they give us enough light for almost all activities. As flash light they did not disappoint either. I am giving them 4 stars for the following reasons:1. Good lantern light and excellent flashlight.2. Ability to charge both through solar and grid.3. Not the highest quality.4. No manual, instructions or at beast battery charging guidance.Note: When charging through power grid the battery is fully charged when the red LED is off. When charging solar, the LED is lid whenever light is registered (charging mode is on, regardless if it is fully charged).

Oooohhh it is bright and shiny meow! =^OuO^= This light is mesmerizing! Cannot help but stare at the shiny black exterior, tha transforms from a Flashlight to a Lantern! Amazing how it opens up and is automatically lit! It is fascinating meow, this is a light you can play with! It is very bright, and quickly charged in the sun! Haven't tried the USB charging thingy yet and probably never will simply fur having no need to. This is a very handy little light, good fur emergencies and nightly desert adventures!

Ich habe mich für diese Lampe entschieden, weil sie durch Sonnenlicht aufgeladen werden kann, aber auch mit einem Ladekabel. Außerdem finde ich es gut, dass man sie als Lampe benutzen kann, sowie als Taschenlampe. Es gibt zwei Henkel an der Oberseite der Lampe und einen an der Seite, um die Lampe zu tragen, wenn man sie als Taschenlampe benutzt. Das Licht ist sehr hell und hat eine lange Reichweite. Ein weiterer Punkt ist natürlich auch, dass sie nicht gerade teuer ist. Ich finde es wirklich cool, dass man sein Handy mit der Lampe aufladen kann, nur schade, dass die "Powerbank" nicht für IPhones und andere IOS-Geräte funktioniert. Fazit: Gute Lampe zu gutem Preis. Ich freue mich schon sie auf das nächste Festival mitzunehmen.

Lampe bekommen und gleich ausgepackt. Taschenlampenfunktion getestet und ok... nicht schlecht. Dann die Laterne auseinander gezogen und fast erblindet. Gott ist die hell. Hätte ich so nicht erwartet. Reicht für ein großes 4 Mann Zelt locker auch. Auch ein Mannschaftszelt der Bundeswehr könnte man damit erleuchten. Sie kam voll geladen bei mir an. Auch als Powerbank verwendbar was natürlich gerade beim Zelten geil ist. Und dann tagsüber schön in die Sonne stellen und ein Teil des verbrauchten Stroms bekommt man durch die Sonne wieder zurück. Das Design ist sehr ansprechend und unheimlich robust. Also mich hat die Laterne voll überzeugt

Così così. Consegna nei termini ed imballo ok. La lanterna fa una luce leggera. Probabilmente sufficiente al chiuso, dal mio punto di vista è insufficiente all'aperto. L'ho presa per illuminare un tavolo in giardino durante le cene...la luce è insufficiente. Il pulsante d'accensione della torcia frontale è protetto da eventuali accensioni accidentali da un piccolo coperchietto che viene tenuto attaccato al corpo della lanterna con un pezzettino di nastro scotch!!! Il filo per la ricarica non ha la spina italiana, ma la spina inglese (quindi se non avete o non comprate un adattatore non potete ricaricarla se non con il pannellino solare, che, devo dire, funziona bene). Ultima cosa: secondo me la presentazione non è chiara, io pensavo che le lanterne fossero due, invece è una soltanto. Con pochi euro in più penso si possa acquistare di meglio. Non la ricomprerei.

Acaban de entregarme mi linterna de camping y voy a describir mis impresiones. Esta vez, aunque el diseño esta cuidado, la calidad de los materiales y de los acabados no son todo lo bueno que yo desearía, pero para el precio que tiene y las características de la linterna, son más que aceptables. Tiene dos luces, una que actúa como linterna accionada mediante un interruptor y la otra (más potente) que se enciende retirando ambas varillas laterales y tirando de la parte superior hacia arriba. Estas varillas también nos sirven para poder colgar la lámpara. Aunque trae un cable para cargar directamente en cualquier enchufe, tiene una cosa muy chula y es que podemos llevárnosla de camping y con su cargador solar, podremos reponer durante el día la batería agotada durante la noche. También podremos utilizarla como powerbank ya que trae un puerto USB para poder así cargar el móvil por ejemplo. No sé qué tiempo tarda en cargar la batería la plaquita solar, ni tampoco cuanta intensidad proporciona el puerto USB pero voy a probarla bien y editare el comentario para indicarlo. De todos modos si tenéis alguna duda en la que pueda ayudaros, estaré encantado de hacerlo.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------They just gave me my camping lantern and I'm going to describe my impressions. Ho acquistato questa luce perché dopo 9 anni di scout finalmente ho deciso di prendere una tenda tutta mia e andare in camping. Nella ricerca di una luce da tenere in tenda ho trovato questo prodotto davvero spettacolate ! Il pacco esterno si presenta abbastanza illustrativo e spiega tutte le funzionalità della lanterna. All'interno la luce è protetta da un celofan protettivo che attutisce qualsiasi colpo e vi è il cavo di ricarica usb. Descrivendo la lanterna parto dal dire che ha 2 potenziali modalità d'utilizzo: si può appendere in tenda tirando su il manicotto che fa uscire la luce apposita e che si accende automaticamente , oppure si può usare da portare a mano infatti presenta un led e una maniglia apposita per questa modalità d'uso. Il pulsante per l'accezione del led è protetto da un cappuccio e va rimosso per l'utilizzo. Particolare è la funziona autoricaricabile con il led nella parte superiore il ché la rende davvero ottimizzata e utile nei campeggi dove magari non si ha prese per ricaricare. CONSIGLIO IL PRODOTTO .

Es una linterna muy util, me gusta la carga solar y vía USB, el problema que tiene es que la hechura es muy endeble. El material para llevar de camping debe soportar al menos el ajetreo, y esta linterna no aguantó la segunda caída. La primera vez que se cayó (de las manos, no de altura!) se desarmó y logré rearmarla con un poco de paciencia. Al segundo embate ya no resistió.Preferiría pagar un poco más y que aguante, porque una cosa es tener un producto en casa y otra llevarlo de camping, donde es esperable que se caiga o zarandee más de lo normal.

Design semplice ed funzionale, compatta e molto maneggevole,la luce è potente sia in modalità torcia sia in quella di lanterna.con tanto di maniglie in acciaio che permettono anche di appenderla. Comodissima perché ricaricabile sia tramite presa classica, usb e infine solare. Insomma impossibile farla scaricare. Davvero carina, un oggetto da avere in casa e non solo in campeggio. Prezzo davvero irrisorio, un affare.

My older uncle asked me to buy him a rechargeable lantern style light for night fishing.I ended up choosing this light as it seemed to be decent value.It's a nice lantern and at $13.59 (at the time of this review) it's a good price.You can charge it via a regular plug (included) or with a usb plug (not included).It seems well built and made of metal not plastic.But it's not extremely bright and lasts for only about 4 hours on a full charge.I bought one light for my uncle which worked fine right out of the box.And a buddy of his wanted one as well so I ordered a 2nd light. That one arrived and immediately after taking it out of the box, only the flashlight worked, not the pull-up lantern. Even after a full charge.I had not problem returning it at no charge, and ordered another unit which seems to be working fine.They've both been in use for a couple of months now.

ich bin positiv überrascht wie toll diese Lampe ist. Allein schon die Möglichkeiten der Stromversorgung hat mich begeistert. Entweder DC oder Solar akkus sind fest verbaut. Top.auf der Seite befindet sich eine USB Buchse an der man das beiliegende Kabel einstecken kann und die Lampe als Powerbank nutzen kann um sein Handy o.ä. zu laden zudem hat mann eine taschenlampenfunktion am boden der lampe die eine kraftvolle led am boden hat . Im großen und ganzen muss ich sagen diese Lampe für das Geld einfach unschlagbar gut. Die Qualität ist auch nicht schlecht sie sieht und fühlt sich sehr robust an. Auf jedenfall eine Kaufempfehlung von mir!!!

This is a handy camp light that recharges with sunlight. I put it in the sunlight for a short time and had light! You can use it like a flashlight or stand up light. You can also plug it in to charge. Love how I don't have to plug it in to charge. We usually go camping without power so it will be really handy this summer to just charge it in the sunlight.

Habe mir das gute Stück für einen Campingurlaub geholt. Dadurch dass LEDs verbaut sind, hält der Akku wirklich lange. Ich konnte die Lampe eine Woche lang gelegentlich nutzen ohne sie am Strom zu laden. Habe sie immer mal wieder in die Sonne gelegt, dass die kleine Solarzelle ihre Arbeit vollrichten kann. Wie viel das gebracht hat kann ich nicht wirklich beurteilen.Bei dem Preis bin ich Jedoch voll zufrieden und finde auch die Ausziehfunktion sehr praktisch.

Ho comprato questa torcia in quanto mi è utile per il mio camper, è una torcia di buona qualità, la cosa che reputo più utile è la carica ad energia solare, inoltre è possibile utilizzarla come Power Bank e quindi ricaricare il cellulare ovunque.Penso che ne prenderò un altra per tenerla in casa

Bueno, hacía tiempo buscaba una linterna de este estilo, ya tenía una parecida anteriormente, pero no se podía recargar, es decir, iba por pilas, y esta no solo es recargable enchufándola, si no que, si nos vamos por ahí, al campo o donde sea, y hace buen tiempo, se recargara gracias a su placa solar.En cuanto a los materiales no está nada mal, su funcionamiento es muy sencillo, si quieres encender la linterna normal aprietas al botón para encenderla y apagarla, por otro lado si queremos encender el modo linterna de camping, lo único que tenemos que hacer es levantar o abrir la linterna, de forma que la luz interior se encenderá y podrá iluminar una zona (por contra de la linterna normal que enfoca a un punto determinado).Contenido del paquete:-Linterna 2 en 1 (linterna normal y linterna modo camping) con placa solar.- Cable de recarga por enchufeEn conclusión, si buscas una linterna para irte de camping esta te va a venir genial, un precio realmente bueno para este producto, el cual te sirve tanto si vas a algún sitio oscuro, como si quieres iluminar una zona para echarte unas cartas en un camping o zona poco iluminada.

It's not sealed, it actually vibrated apart while en route to my campsite... I had to screw it back togehter.. After about 20 minutes of use one of the LED's stopped working... and on our 2nd trip this last weekend it stopped lighting up totally. Cheap parts, cheaply made and poorly put togheter. it's less then 2 months old and it's headed to the trash.
