Men's TIMP Sneaker

Nice zero drop shoe. These shoes are so comfy. They are perfect for when I'm on my feet a lot.. They are well vented, and that is great on dry ground. Wet ground not so much. They have a place to attach a gaiter, but I haven't tried that yet. My husband doesn't like that Altras have a rocker bottom now. (We both like our Xeros.) I had to play around with the laces to get the fit just right.

This sneaker is very comfortable. Unfortunately I had to return it for a different size.

I absolutely love these shoes. The zero drop takes a little getting used to. My only complaint is on the inside of the shoe at the big toe knuckle, There is a little piece of an abrasive material. I do not wear socks with my shoes, so these will rub raw spots on my knuckles. Without that flaw, they would be perfect. But if you wear socks, it won’t be a problem.

I really appreciate the wide toe box, but there is zero arch support in these shoes (Timp 4). Ugly shoe laces and the eyelets on one shoe has already tore. The quality of these shoes have gone down. I can't recommend these shoes.

These are my 6th pair of TIMPs. I’ve been using these as my all purpose running shoe. I am 46 yo, 6’1”, 185-190 lbs, and I run for fitness — at my size and age, keeping my feet and knees happy is essential for high impact exercise. I went with size 12 … and I’m one of those people who sometimes need to go up to a 12.5 in Altra because their sizing can be conservative in some models from year to year. These are not as roomy as the earliest TIMPs, but they are still high volume and work for my feet. I’ve used them on treadmill, trail, and asphalt and they perform great. One negative-ish comment with this iteration is that the tongue is much smaller than in previous generations. This isn’t a problem when running (at least not for me), but it does make putting the shoes on a little more tricky — specifically to not push the tongue into the shoe. A fabric loop would be great.

I really like this shoe. It has a lot more cushioning than my previous TIMPs. But my previous TIMP shoes had very little. It feels plush but has all the Altra weight saving stuff the company has been doing. So, its not as plush as Altra's were a few years ago but the comfort hasn't suffered as much as I think it did in recent years. I'd like to give it a 5 star rating but I think this shoe is definitely a forefoot landing shoe. For some runners this would be a good thing but for heel-toe rolling gates the shoe won't impress you. Far less cushioning in the heel. Too little for my taste and that is why I rated it just a 4 star shoe. Hey! Even the shoelaces appear long enough now for my crazy lacing patterns. It only took how many years? Altra is a great brand but recently see their shoes hell bent on performance to the detriment of comfort. I like comfort!Update ... maybe 4.5 stars now !1. love the shoe laces. long enough and the black stitching in them provides great grip to keep them tied2. I put a 2nd Altra sock liner in the shoe from an old pair. yup ... 2 liners. Cushioning is much better. Altra should think about selling thicker sock liners.

Shoes come of questionable quality ,wrinkled: Not worthed. I’m not recommend.

I work in the medical field and need lots of comfort to help my feet. The thick soles work with my orthopedic inserts well. The wide toe box is welcoming.

Cercavo delle scarpe da ginnastica che non avessero la classica punta stretta.Questa scarpa è perfetta e ha un'ottimo grip grazie alla sua particolare suola.Leggerissime! pesano veramente molto molto poco e comodo.Consigliate!!

Dieser Schuh überzeugt mich total! Der breitere Zehenkasten oder einfach der vordere Bereich sorgen für angenehmen Komfort. Ich habe besonders breite Füße und nach längeren Laufen meist Schmerzen. Nach kurzer Eintragezeit im Alltag, habe ich Sie beim Ersten Trail Lauf ca. 15km getragen. Guter Halt, stabil und angenehm zu tragen! Es ist mein 2. SCHUH DER Firma Altra und ich bin begeistert! Preis Leistung stimmt und der Versand war schnell und unkompliziert 💪

Scarpa leggera, veste normale, la pianta non è stretta.

Der Schuh passt Top, ist leicht und dazu noch sehr bequem. Auch die Zehenbox ist nicht so groß wie bei anderen Altra Modellen. Für mich sehr angenehm.Ich habe den Schuh nur für die Arbeit gekauft. Habe ihn jetzt ca. 36 Tage je 8 Stunden im Einsatz gehabt und laufe am Tag so. 8 - 12 km. Wechselndes Gelände mit Gefälle (Steine, Schotter, Erde und etwas Asphalt). Der Oberschuh ist noch Taco. Die Sohle zeigt allerdings deutlichen Abrieb und im hinteren Bereich hat sich ein Teil der Sohle komplett verabschiedet (Musste es abschneiden wegen Stolpergefahr). Es war es nicht sauber verklebt. Beim anderen Schuh hält das selbe Teil noch sehr gut. Auch das Netz löst sich langsam auf.Alles in allem ein guter Schuh aber leider nicht sehr langlebig.
