Nice little boxes for the protection of card decks.
My son has been picking up decks of cards where ever we go as a small size collectible. Additionally, he has been picking up other decks of cards that are nice or have some kind of special picture on them. We started looking for ways to protect his cards and these were what we decided to try.IF you have poker playing sized cards, these will work fine. They do protect the cards from the elements and from getting the outside boxes of the cards beat up looking. Also, the boxes are exactly as pictured. Other reviews mentioned them needing to be hinged and that they opened easily. This is true on both counts. These would be so much better if they were hinged. They would also be better if the top stayed on the bottom of the box better. The top is looser than it should be, in my opinion.Since we are not using the cards, we simply used a little piece of clear tape to hold the bottom to the top of the clear box.

Sleeved
I've been looking for boxes that will hold sleeved cards. I have deck boxes from ultrapro for big batches of cards to be put into my board game boxes, but sometimes the box itself is too small for such things, or there are just a few cards. These smaller boxes looked like just the thing. The interior dimensions looked right, the price was good, so I gave it a go. While the rounded corners shave the dimensions a bit so that the corners of the cards might bend just slightly, I'm very please by these. They are a good solution to storing sleeved cards in smaller board game boxes. The tops slide off easily, but as these are often going into a box that is already packed qith components, I'm not worried at all. Recommended.

Perfect for playing 52-PICK UP
These things don’t stay closed unles you carefully pick the case up holding onto both the top and bottom. The second time the bottom dropped off (because I lifted it grabbing the top lid only) cards spewed everywhere. It was then I decided that I would use the two pieces as trays. They make pretty nice trays. And not a bad price for 24 clear plastic trays. I did try using a rubber band around it but then it wouldn’t sit flat.

Not an optimum design but useful anyway
As other reviewers have mentioned, these are neither hinged nor do they have a clasp to keep them shut but the two halves nest fairly snugly. You must pick them up from the bottom to avoid separation or use a rubber band to keep them shut. Other than that minor limitation, they work well at protecting poker sized cards- either loose or in the box- and they were exactly what I needed.

Perfect and better option to paper or acrylic boxes!!!
Cardboard tears... acrylic breaks. These are a perfect replacement! And for the awesome price, you just add a rubber band and no problems with not staying closed! Wish I had found these sooner!!!
