I am very pleased with these lights. We had them installed at our home office desks, under the cabinets over the work surfaces. The light is great! I love that it is dimable. The electrician installed it facing toward the wall, on the back of the cabinet face. My husband is pleased with that at his desk. I moved the portion directly over the middle of my workspace so that it points down. I like that better. The work surface is dark green and not shiny so there is not the glare of reflection you might get on a shinier or light colored surface.This cost much less than the product available at the local electrical supply store. The electrician who installed it said it is good quality.

I was a bit disconcerted about how small the package was that the LED strip came in. The strip was wound around what looked like an old reel to reel tape recorder reel. But that’s just a neat way to package the length of LED tape. The LED tape came with pre-soldered leads at both ends with fine flexible red and black wires for positive and negative. Being 12 Volt DC you have to pay attention to getting the polarity correct.The light output is a nice warm white and with LEDs every inch makes for a very satisfying light level for under cabinet mounting in the kitchen. Do pay attention to how to mount the LED tape so that it doesn’t shine down onto a high gloss surface. Rather mount on the inside front edge of the cabinet aiming light at the backsplash. That way you won’t get a strong reflection in the counter top.

I have now installed over 500' of this product. Installs easly, however if at all possible do not use the suppled connectors. They are very sensitive to movement, and will come loose if you look at them funny. Secure both the connector and the tape, and you should not have any issues. In an application that may be subject to vibration, you should solder the connections.This stuff is vey bright! Install only in locations where it will not be directly visible.

The lumen output of this LED tape is pretty awesome, the 'color temperature' is as described, a warm white. Only con I have is that the CRI is a little low, meaning that some colors look a little desaturated under the light (reds). Probably doesn't matter much in many under cabinet situations. I used in it in an uplight cove. If you are looking for an LED tape that provides significant output, not just a glow, this is a good product.

This is a soft white light, dimmed it provides a soft mood and maxed is great for task. It's so easy to connect using the connectors, but equally easy to cut and solder.

Well worth the price

Product showed up without the product in it. Ribbon flex pro LED tape lighting without the light. Only connectors and two copies of instructions were in package. This has delayed a kitchen remodel. Very upset!!!
