Definitely great for defining 4c curls. However, they do work best on short hair. I was only able to use a couple of times because it was just snagging my hair too much. If your hair is longer you would just have to do tiny, tiny sections if you still wanted to use this brush.

These combs are great for adding volume to my fine hair. High quality. The 2-pack gives me a spare to keep in my purse. Highly recommend.

This is a great brush for teasing some volume into my fine bio-hair but it's also great for smoothing out the permatease in my wigs that can tend to make me look like I'm all hair. You guys know what I mean. This is a very handy brush to have around and it's helpful that it has a rattail.

Review: CocoBlack Naturals 3 Row Styling Comb (Black) I honestly didn’t expect this to work so well. I’ve spent so much money on different detangling brushes over the years, and every single one eventually let me down—either breaking, snagging my hair, or making detangling harder as my hair grew longer and thicker. I only tried this comb because of the price (two for just $4!) and because I needed a sturdy tail comb. To my surprise, it actually worked. It didn’t give me a dramatic “wow” moment, but it did let me detangle without breakage—and that’s a big win for me. For the price, sturdiness, and the fact that it actually does its job, I’d say this little comb is definitely worth trying.

The curl definition on this is great. I have 3c/4a hair and find the curl definition to be very effective. I’ve used all different types of curl defining brushes/combs, but this one is excellent. Especially since it’s so easy to travel with due to its small size.

The rows are too tight for my hair. Based on videos I saw online, I thought this would help me clump and define my curls. Not sure where the mismatch happened, but this comb definitely does not do that. The space between the rows make it more of a regular comb for detangling.

Hab einen Kamm für meinen Hund zweckentfremdet .... er löst sehr gut seine Knoten aus dem Fell ...😉 den anderen benutzt ich für mich und find ihn perfekt ... kannte sowas schon aus DDR-Zeiten 👍🏻

Nice! Very good for tight curls. I'm regrowing my hair out after going bald. I have a mixture textures throughout my head. I applied curl pudding on very wet hair and then carefully combed through from the back to the front (the back is more 4a, mid 3c and front 4a/4b. There is a kind of technique where you comb through but also smooth with your fingers as the curls separate for a really defined look, similar to the curl shingling technique.
