Nice analysis of different approaches and designs and histories of some famous properties. Would be fun to visit in person - nice book

My question is how could a book be shrink wrapped and have a page ripped out of it? Otherwise it was a fair purchase. I was looking more for international barns, not just the conventional USA.

This is a very beautiful book. The text and photos are fabulous. Anyone who loves horses, has horses, or is ahorse owner wannabe....would love it.

I bought this book expecting to see pages of luxurious and elegant barns. Instead there are a couple of nice barns but the others are just regular stables, nothing special. With all the grand Haciendas in nearby Mexico, with the fancy stables formerly attached to old family estates, when we have the old Gladstone, etc. it is not too much to expect the book to live up to its title. As it is, I know of at least three of my friend's barns that are nicer than some in this book.

Gave as Christmas gift, and recipients were thrilled!!

This book does a good job of showing us newer and older barns that have an architectural significance. I really enjoyed it.
