Florida tested and failed. My two daughters within 5 minutes had mosquitos swarming around them. Then they went inside and I wore both. Mosquitos ambushed me anyway on the mosquito setting. I even had mosquito repellent and those worthless stickers on too. They only defense I had was my my mosquito racket.

I don't know if this happens to all of the products, but the one I received could not have worked because the regular AAA batteries couldn't make contacts.The device has a flat circular ring of conductive material on the screw-in end, which is supposed to contact the positive terminal of one battery, and the negative terminal of the other. However, because the ring is flat, it was unable to contact the negative terminal (which is flat and slightly recessed because of the plastic cover). As the result, there is no power being supplied to the device, and it doesn't work. It might work if you could somehow find a AAA battery that has a "button" (raised part) on both ends.

I've been using products like these for years and I have a lot of problems with getting bit by mosquitoes whenever I go out and these little ultrasonic buzzing devices definitely work I don't know what it does it sends out a signal so mosquitoes don't come around they work I honestly don't go out without this or some kind of bug spray on because I get attacked by mosquitos at night.

Rather than purchasing this unit, just light the $20 on fire because it's about the same thing and then you won't have to lug this piece of crap around and waste batteries.Just save yourself the trouble and don't waste any time with this thing.. it doesn't work at all. Mosquito mode nor dragonfly mode. If anything, it's more like ringing the dinner bell.

I have been looking for something other than applying chemical (Bug repellent sprays) on my body, and this seems like a great idea. i have not put it to use, but i will be in two weeks. Because i am doing a summer camping trip. i just hope it works last year i came home from my camping trip with several mosquito bites. Oh it does come with a flashlight which is not that bright but can be used in emergency.

I've used this at at the lake in the evening, a wooded area at night, and an afternoon back yard bbq. I have yet to get a mosquito bite. I'm that person that always has a ton, regardless of how much spray I use. I'm so impressed!!

The things are bulky, very heavy and make from plastic. Not impressed at all so far. Light button hard to push.Both items picked up weeks ago via fedex. We returned as instructed. Shows returned days ago,and still no refund.

This thing didn't work at all and was annoying to deal with and having around, if it had working it would be totally worth it but that not being the case I ended up returning it.
