Rock-solid tablet, excellent fit-and-finish, can't beat the price
I am very pleased with this tablet. The production description and the product match, and the price is right for what's included. The fit and finish are good -- nothing feels cheap or flimsy. The buttons and jacks feel solid, the case is well made, the display is bright and responsive, the cameras are good, performance is on par with other tablets I've played with, battery life is good, the charger works great and doesn't feel cheap. I really can't find anything to fault, and for the price it's perfect. One thing not in the specs: it has a FM tuner built-in. If you plug in headphones as an antenna, you can use the pre-installed FM radio app to listen to local, terrestrial FM radio. It'll play through the headphones or the speakers. I realize the age of transistor pockets radios is pretty much dead, but having an FM radio is pretty nice for entertainment when you're out of wifi range.I needed a big-screen GPS and wasn't excited about the prices for a dedicated unit, so I started looking at larger tablets and GPS software. I'm running Sygic Car Navigation and this tablet has no problems grabbing and holding GPS signal. With 32GB I can load all the US maps I need and not worry about space, and I can add more memory if needed. It's a wifi-only unit so I tether it to my cellphone when driving... no problems. I also run Torque Pro with a Bluetooth ODBII adapter on my Jeep and the tablet keeps up fine. Everything I run on my Android phone I've been able to run on the tablet. It charges fairly quickly and uses a reasonable amount of battery when operating. Battery charge life depends a lot on what you're doing and how bright and colorful you keep your screen, so it's hard to say what's 'normal' for charge life. That said, I have no complaints -- it lasts plenty long for my applications... I've yet to deplete the tablet before my needs are met, and I'm almost always near a means of charging. I've used it for a few hours surfing news and the like, and the charge dropped from 100% to about 60 or 70%. That sounds reasonable to me.If you're looking for ways to mount this in a vehicle, the RAM Universal Backing Plate (HOL-ACU) and RAM Tab-Tite Cradle Cup Ends for 10" Tablets (HOL-TAB6-CUPSU) fit perfectly if you leave the case off the tablet. With the case on it will fit, but it's tight and doesn't seat fully. I purchased my mounting parts from SnakeClamp... a solid alternative to RAM, though they do incorporate some RAM components.I've emailed Simbans with a few technical questions and they were very responsive -- within a few hours I had a reply.Given the speed of customer service and the high level of quality and features for the price, I would have no reservations recommending this tablet to friends or family.

Best tablet I've had thus far.
after posting this review i wanted to add this comment in fairness to the tablet. I indicated that battery life was very short when running games and this is true. However i have discovered that when just surfing you can achieve nearly seven hours of battery life. Wanted this comment to be up front so no one gets the false impression that this is a bad tablet. It isn't.This is my third tablet and while being the least expensive seems to be the best so far. Having had this tablet or a few days now I have found it to be very reliable. The screen resolution is fantastic. I would not say that it is "fast" but the response time certainly is fast enough for me to surf the net. I have tried several flight simulators (I was told these are high memory demand games) and found that they all play without lagging or freezing momentarily during play. Not being a gamer I also found that I rather enjoy playing with flight simulators. It responds well with all the games my wife likes, Candy crusher, wizard oz, etc. No problems with any apps that I have tried. I did download "navigator GPS" and tried it out between home and work. I found that it works and displays every bit as well as my gamin and with a much larger screen it is much easier for an old man to see. I simply folded the cover back and sit it on the dash of my jeep and it gave me every turn all the way to work. I may not have totally figured out the camera yet as it seems to be quite sensitive to shake or movement. Being an experienced amateur photographer I have some concern that the rear camera is really 5MP but even so it still takes a reasonable picture if you hold really still and as I mentioned earlier the resolution is really good. I had no problems setting up the wifi. It recognized my signal immediately and set its self with no interference from me. Really my only concern here is that the battery life is extremely short. I have only managed to get around three hours per charge and less when running flight simulators. They seem to cut battery life by around 20-25 percent. You can continue to use the tablet while charging but this drastically increases the charge time. Really the only things I would change is a better battery and a better rear camera. Remember though, that I may not have figured out the camera settings as there seems to be three or four that could affect vibration and movement. I would buy it again.
