This is a set of cheap earbuds packaged nicely with a lot of advertising behind them. I am unimpressed, mainly because I can't get them to fit well no matter which tip I use.There is no active noise cancellation and unless you get a good seal, the passive noise cancellation isn't even very good. There is a fancy app but it doesn't do much besides set custom controls for each earbud and there are some EQ setting presets, but it's fairly limited. The overall sound quality when the fit is good is better than expected but they don't stay in my ears well. It doesn't matter how good something sounds if it only sounds good for a few seconds.These have long stems that I would assume would help the range and microphone audio quality but neither are very good. Mic quality is ok, not better than other cheap earbuds I've tried. Overall, these are just remarkably average, but the real issue is they don't fit well and I just get frustrated every time I use them. I ended up just not using them anymore, it's too bad because I really wanted to like these.These appear to be exactly the same as the Turtle Beach Scout Air (Turtle Beach owns Roccat). I am not sure why they made both, but if you don't like these, you won't like those either. They are functionally the same with a different logo. I was really hoping these would be better than the Scout Airs but they are the same and now I'm even more disappointed. I like Roccat in general and even some of the new Turtle beach over the ear headsets, but I'm not a fan of these at all. I'm only giving these 3 stars because it might just be a problem with my ears but I have no issues with AirPods Pro or most cheap earbuds with the same type of rubber tips.

So I was excited to try these earbuds as they fall into an Ok price point and they are by Roccat and I am a fan of their products.First things first: I didn't buy these for gaming. I am sure they would work fine and they have a gaming mode that you can get into by using the Roccat App that offers reduced latency. I am sure they are more than fine for that purpose.However, the sound leaves a lot to be desired, at least for me. Even in the Bass Boost mode set in the app, these lack bass. For more treble heavy genres like metal, they don't sound too bad, but I would expect a heavier bass effect at this price point.At $99 they also don't offer noise-canceling, might not be a big deal but some of their competitors in the $80-$100 range DO.These are definitely marketed towards gamers, but the case leaves a lot to be desired in that respect, it is pretty plain.The audio the earbuds pick up is pretty clear and I would give it some kudos for that.Overall, I think you can find some better options in this price range or spend a bit more and get a more premium sound.Thank you though to Roccat for developing a usable app and making the pairing experience not super miserable.

I've spent my entire day thus far trying to pair these earbuds. I can pair one or the other one. Not both. There are two different options to pair one or the other on all my bluetooth devices. I downloaded the app hoping there would be further options on there, and then spent 30 minutes trying to get the firmware to update (it kept saying "try again" and I couldn't do anything until it updated). That did not work. I followed the steps on the manufacturer's website (basically, disconnect from bluetooth, turn bluetooth off, turn it back on, open the case). Nope. I've tried on my phone and my computer. At one point, the computer said something like "pairing mismatched" as I connected to one earbud.The other thing is, there is a marked difference in audio quality between the left and the right earbud. The left sounds pretty good, but the right is far worse.I contacted support on their page, so I will update this review if this is resolved, but currently I cannot recommend these. I do hope I can get it fixed, because they are comfortable earbuds.

I picked these up for my new gaming laptop. I wanted an all wireless solution to be able to game with "on the go" since I am traveling between my two houses as I prep my old house for sale.... after one gaming session I am going to put these back in the box.The sound is so tinny and harsh that I was playing terribly and kept having to adjust the volume. These have almost no bass, and have over extended highs. Voices sound alright and the other players could hear me in the game ( so I guess the mics work) but otherwise it was just a fail overall.Normally I have good luck with Roccat products; but not this one.Pairing on windows SHOULD have been easy; but it wasn't. The first time I paired the headphones I only had one out of the box (normally how I do it) but this meant that only one side would work. I had to unpair it from windows, take both out of the box, then start the pairing process if I wanted them both to work. Kind of weird and haven't run into that before.Overall this product has too many flaws to be recommendable.

My daughter likes these ear buds so much--they connected effortlessly to her two key devices, they have no noticeable lag between the video/gaming sources and her hearing, and they keep a charge a long time. She likes the optional silicon fittings so that she gets just the right fit she wants, too. Recommended.
