My new go-to knife. I love the knife that comes in this package. It can cut through a melon like nothing. It's awesome! The slicer/scooper, on the other hand, is worthless. At least I can't figure out how to get it to work correctly. The melon baller/carver is just an added fun toy to play around with.

I wouldn't recommend this. The knife does not cut straight and the tools are hard to use.

The knife is great--long enough to slice through an entire watermelon. It takes a little time to get used to the slicer, but it's worth the effort! Appreciate the company sending my kit in a timely fashion so I could use it during watermelon season.

I started looking for the cool watermelon slicer tool after seeing it on IG. When I went on Amazon to look around I came across this product that included the "watermelon knife" and melon tool. I wasn't looking for the tool but I just so happen to be looking for a better knife to cut watermelon. So I decided to purchase this set (knowing I wouldn't use the tool so this review has nothing to do with that part). The watermelon slicer takes a time or 2 to get the hang of using it. I do like the fact that I can get most of the watermelon pretty easily, it's just a bit awkward to use. The handle has some how turned colors from the actual juice of the watermelon which makes me wonder just how cheap the handle is made (if I can insert a pic I will). This happened after only the 2nd use (at least that's when I started noticing it and by the 3rd use you can't miss it). As for the knife, I will probably just throw it away. It defiantly doesn't cut the watermelon like "butter". It has serrated edges and takes quite a few times to cut into the watermelon. I was looking for something that would slice thru the melon easily, this is not it. The other issue I have with the knife is that it doesn't cut straight. You always end up with a smaller, slightly angled half. I thought it was just me but when my husband used it he asked where I got the knife at. I should have just spent the extra money and purchased a knife separately. If you eat watermelon like we do (a lot) this is not the product for you. If you just eat an occasional watermelon and can deal with a slightly different half of the melon along with the slicer that has a handle that turns colors, meh...for the price it's ok. The melon slicer itself runs about $12 and this set ran about $16ish. Like I said I don't have a need for the other tool and for $4, not sure I deal with the hassle of sending back.

This is by far the best way to cut watermelon without waste. I highly recommend. Cheers!

Attractive product, high quality, easy to learn to use, good pricing.

Very poorly constructed. It was only the second time I used it and the slicer disassembled on a small mellon. I do not recommend it. It is a waste of time and money. I which amazon carries a higher end version.
