Little Folk Visuals Five Speckled Frogs Precut Flannel/Felt Board Figures, 11 Pieces Set

My little guy was SO into this song, and nothing I tried to make on my own was cutting it, so this was like finding a miracle needle in a haystack for me! As a heads-up to parents/teachers: Make sure you have access to a laminator that can manage larger sheets. My standard printer page sized laminator couldn’t accommodate this width, and I was not going to spend another $50 on a laminator for one project. Thankfully, thin, plastic cutting boards sliced up and glued to the backs of the froggies did the trick! With some Velcro buttons and a felt board made out of the very box these arrived in, we were ready to sing and play over and over..and over...and over... What I liked the most: - Encouragement to verbalize numbers as well as say them sequentially. - With the felt exposed (no lamination) it seems to give them a more enjoyable interaction, as they can pet the froggies too. - Such a nicely sized display! Not too huge, not too small. - Felt and paint quality is FAR better than I was expecting. The lines are crisp, the colors bold, nice contrast. Very visually engaging. - Insert lists several game/play ideas, which was a nice bonus. Hopefully this helps those of you who didn’t read the whole description! I was so excited to find the exact prop for the song I didn’t realize it was just lumps of felt, lol! At least you don’t have to cut them out yourself!

Cutest felt board story figures for the song "5 Little Speckled Frogs." I got it for my DIL who does daycare and paired it with the board book of the same song. It was my son's favorite when he was little so I thought they would love teaching the song with the storyboard to their little 18 month old.

These felt stories are the BEST. Large and colorful with wonderful graphics. Between this company and Betty Lukens, I get all I need to educate and play with my grandson on our felt board. Great companies, great products!

This is a wonderful product. It's larger than I expected which is great. My son is autistic and non verbal. He loves songs and doing the actions. This gives him a great visual of the song and he moves the frogs in the water. He is so proud afterwards because even though he couldn't sign the song he was able to communicate on a different level m

Beautiful set! Pieces are larger than I expected. My 2 year old loves everything from Little Folk visuals and we have the Betty Lukens set from their sister company. Highly recommended. Great quality and amazing teaching tool.

I use this in my piano class for my students and they all love it. I sing along to the song "Five Little Speckled Frogs" and take off the pieces one by one while singing this song. I also used this for a toddler group class at a local library and it really engages all the children.
