A record cleaner that has truly impressed me. After using it on numerous records, I can confidently say it provides a significant improvement to older vinyl. This solution effectively removes fingerprints, grease, and other contaminants while deeply cleaning the grooves. The sound quality of most records has notably improved, restoring their lively character. Importantly, it leaves no residue or marks behind. While it's essential to note that severely damaged records will still have issues like clicks or jumps, the cleaner works wonders on those in reasonable condition. I've found that occasionally it requires two or three attempts for deeper cleaning, but the results are well worth it—especially when reviving discs from auction lots that initially seemed disappointing! I must admit, there's something quite satisfying about seeing how much better each record can shine—though I do find myself enjoying this process a bit too much!

The best aspect of this specific cleaner for me is the volume-to-price ratio, as other similar products seem to offer fewer ml of liquid for the same or higher prices. This liquid does the job very well, removing smudges, fingerprints, dust or particles trapped in grooves etc, all with zero damage at all to the records. I've cleaned over 1,600 with it so far - yes really! - so I'm confident about that. Of course it does this along with the supplied microfibre cloth, which I believe is quite a standard one, but it works well, being soft and absorbent, but also quick drying for storage. The supplied circular soft fibre cloth on which one places the records to clean is great too. I choose not to use the supplied rubber accessory which one is meant to use to press on the record's centre labels to fix it to the soft cloth underneath, but that's just preference. Only two (minor) negatives: (1) when I exhausted my first bottle of this cleaning fluid - after around 900 records! - I wanted to replace only that part of the kit, but couldn't find it as a standalone product; this may just be about ranging choices by Amazon and others. (2) sometimes the pump nozzle takes quite a few presses to get the spray going, even when there is plenty of fluid inside - unsure why.

As a record collector I have always taken good care of my vinyl records and many are still sealed and unplayed. The ones I do play I always clean with a good anti-static cloth (one I bought for my DLR camera a few years back) before playing them but thought I would give this a whirl mainly due to the fluid. I have to say there is a very noticeable difference in sound quality after cleaning with the fluid compared to just wiping the obvious bits of dust off with a dry cloth. Pops and clicks are eliminated again and my records sound a whole lot better. They also look beautiful and shiny again. Very happy with my purchase.

Having bought a couple of old albums from a record shop, one skipped and seemed sticky, so much so that it was noticeable when wiping with the record brush. The other just popped and crackled like a good un. Found this and thought why not give it a go, the reviews seemed positive. My word... The amount of grease that came off the first record was immense. It needed a second clean. One second clean later it was time to play the record again. Barely any pops and crackles it plays like a different album. On the first play where it had previous skipped it went with a loud POP but didn't skip. Subsequent plays saw the problem disappeared altogether. I've yet to play the second album but all I can say is that this works. A full kit of everything you need to clean your precious vinyl without damaging it thanks to the centre plunger. The only downside is that the plunger actually works so well that in my case it also sticks to the table through the record centre hole! I also found that on one album, the plunger was so large that it covered up part of the last track but this was alleviated by simply cleaning that area separately afterwards. Thoroughly recommended.

I recently upgraded my 30 year old turntable and haven’t played some of my vinyl for many years. I decided that some of them could do with a good cleaning and not just a quick carbon brush over, so after looking at a few different cleaning kits, I opted for this one and I’m very pleased that I did. The supplied cloth, label protector and circular soft mat ensures that your precious vinyl is well protected and the large bottle of cleaning fluid does a tremendous job of deep cleaning and actually shining up your records. A before and after play test confirms a big improvement in sound quality and a noticeable reduction in pops and crackles. I’d be very happy to buy this again if and when this runs out. Highly recommended!

I wanted a way to clean my records easily and quickly before playing them. After using the liquid on the vinyl and wiping it off, surface noise, clicks and pops are greatly reduced. I use an additional carbon brush afterwards to reduce static charge, but thats all. Great product for the price, and easy to use!

This cleaning kit works incredibly well—my old vinyl records are looking like new again! The fluid lifts dust and grime easily, and the included label protector and pad are great additions for keeping things tidy and safe. Just a tip: go easy and clean a small number of records at a time, as the microfiber cloth can get damp quickly, and you don’t want to risk damaging your records. Overall, a fantastic kit that does exactly what it promises. Highly recommended for any vinyl lover!

Stay away from this product. 3 records I have cleaned with this product, constantly clicks and pops after the cleaning. Now I need another product to clean the mess this one created. You are warned.

As I was looking for similar products, this one struck me as having much better value, considering the included items (label protector, microfiber cloth, and base cloth) and the quantity of cleaning solution! I'm on my way to having cleaned nearly 100 records with plenty of product left, and clean records to show as a result. Very easy to use. All these records where old and had varying degree of built up dust, finger prints and mystery dirt on them, but they all came out looking nice and clean. Will definitely buy this again.

The item seems to work quite well. The spray musts on nicely and wipes off easily and cleanly with the included soft cloth. The rubber label protector and the round cloth protector sheet are excellent and necessary additions. There is so much more spray fluid here than most other similar items that cost more. Excellent value and easy to use. Works great to eliminate fingerprints, dust and static. However I had to return the first one because the spray nozzle was broken. Not fault of manufacturer but instead fault of Amazon shipper. They ship the item in a thin plastic bag envelope, and the box gets crushed every time in shipping. Luckily the second one was not broken but the box was still mangled. However the quality of the cleaner, the cloth and the rubber protector seem to work quite well. keeps my records clean and static free.
