Just installed it today on my 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid. Fitment was spot-on and it closes securely. The plastic appears to be PP; hoping it holds up well over the next few years.

Pin too long
Was a good fit, small difference in shape compared to oem. One issue, the pin it comes with is too long. So you can't put back on the cover properly. Had to use my old pin. Big inconvenience for those who don't have the original parts.

This fit and works great! For 2007 Civic Sedan
This fit and works great! I thought I'd have to drill the hole on the latch a bit larger as some reviewers stated, but the pin fit through easily. Aesthetic and quality: The texture is a bit different than OEM (oem is smooth and this one has an orange peel feel), but the picture already told me that. The arm rest covers most of it anyway so I wasn't concerned about its texture or color. The latch connector and pin does not feel flimsy, which I hope means it will last a while. Install: I winged it at first. I tried to install it by holding the latch and spring against the armrest, then threading the pin through. This is probably the more difficult way. The installation process was fairly easy after looking at a youtube video. Put the pin and spring together onto the latch - with the pin BARELY in the hole on the passenger side of it. Then thread the entire assembly through the drivers side and line up the latch, then push the pin in all the way to the passenger side (make sure the spring is seated correctly before pushing in) Photo is of new latch installed and old one below it

Good Part
Purchased this for my sons 2011 Civic. I guess it’s a common part that breaks on Civics. It’s as good as the OEM part that broke. One issue is the pin does not fit. You have to use a drill to make the hole a little bigger. After that installation is a breeze son is happy that his center console closes and stays shut.

Attention ! conservez bien la tige d'origine, celle que j'ai reçu était trop grande et empêchait de refermer correctement le compartiment. Sinon la pièce principale pour remplacer celle qui était cassée est parfaite.
