Thought they were shelves. Nope. A puppy pen.
OK. These are designed as shelves . . . but I used the units to make a 'puppy pen' for training my Shih Tzu! They sell the same thing - with fewer panels - as a small animal pen. But, buy the shelves - and you get more bang for your buck! You can assemble them in all kinds of configurations. And if your pup is a toy breed - it's a perfect fit! It will confine your small dog - while allowing them space to play. They won't 'go' all over your kitchen floor . . . and if they have an accident, it's easy to find!

Meet my Federal Kitty Penitentiary.
Meet Benjamin Chewbacca Organa-Solo. I found him in a bush. I don’t know what he is- an escaped muppet from a dumpster behind Jim Henson studios, an extremely fancy breed of show raccoon, or a man cursed by a witch to take the form of a cat- but whatever he is he’s simultaneously the smartest and dumbest animal I’ve ever cohabitated with. The worst part is, he’s tasted freedom and he wants more.First I built a catio out of screen door mesh. It lasted about eight months before he figured out how to crawl underneath it and then claw his way up the exterior of my porch railing to sit on the outside of the mesh. Did he know how to get back in? No, but he didn’t care. Then he fell from my second story balcony and realized it wasn’t very far to jump, and my life went downhill from there.Eventually I got new neighbors, and they erected a catio out of these wire shelves. I would see their catio every day when I went to get the mail, and finally I decided to try it. First I bought one large set, but it wasn’t quite enough. Then I bought a smaller set to supplement the first one, and I thought my kitty supermax was finally complete. It was not. Ben Solo, true to his namesake, is a force of pure determination and malicious energy. When he wants to do something, this cat-creature will make it happen. He scaled the walls and escaped. So now you see the final form of his kitty supermax. It’s a federal kitty penitentiary. it’s a kitty oubliette with a view. It’s seven feet tall with an inward-facing ceiling he can’t shimmy over, support struts, and mood lighting. If he escapes this one, i’m gonna have to admit defeat. But until then, he’s gonna STAY on my BLEEPING PORCH and STOP SCARING HIS BLEEPING MOTHER TO DEATH.

Not a happy customer
1. Image on the product where they have a step/ staggered display is WRONG. This needs 24 pieces of wired panel. But the product you get has only 23. I am not a great fan of any product that misleads customer with wrong images from the seller. They either should remove this image or provide with 24 wired panels. I was disappointed just by this.2. After assembly, I placed all my sons toys and the grip between the wired panel and black holding screw loosened up because of the weight of 3 or 4 toys. So not a great quality product.3. I was expecting something else but I ended up getting a not so good product. Will not recommend this.

Perfect solution to a messy corner
I kept the grandkids' toys in a corner (1 yr & 3 yr olds) and that corner got very messy, very fast! I got 2 sets of these (6 cubes each 13.8" x 13.8") and added cubes in each to store the toys when not in use. An ADORABLE & PRACTICAL solution to a very messy corner. Great teaching tool for kids to learn about organization. Clean-up is now a 'fun' challenge and they enjoy re-discovering their toys' hideout. A month in with plenty use, and all still looks beautiful. Gotten lots of compliments on that little play corner. No regrets.

Russian tortoise approved
This thing is a life-saver! I had to get a temporary home for my Russian tortoise, so I decided to go for this since it's a decent size and easy to move around. It was super easy to assemble, and she hasn't climbed out yet, which I was originally worried about. The only problem I have is that there aren't enough of the connectors to be able to attach all of the sides together, which I decided to take away one star for because I feel like for the price you should at least be able to use the whole thing.

If you want it to be extra sturdy, buy zip ties
I ended up purchasing two sets of these at separate times, but did end up connecting both of them. If you want it to be extra sturdy, buy zip ties. If you're using it for children, I definitely recommend zip ties. Taking toys on and off the shelves can result in the connectors popping off. The connectors can be a pain to really get to snap in to place and certain sides of the connectors don't snap. I have three rows of four, but the bottom row as one cube that was extended and is now double the size of a normal cube. I used zip ties to secure it, because the connectors wouldn't stay due to the lack of support in the middle. That's not the fault of the shelves, but mine for wanting at least one larger cube for wider toys and longer storage bin. I do wish there were storage bins that fit the cubes perfectly. Most bins are either 10x10 or 12x12, leaving open space on the sides and the top, not enough space to be able to use for other toys. I'm just glad that my son isn't able to climb it.

Great cage
Love it . I really wanted White but it only came in black.I need it for a rabbit cage for two rabbits. This came with 24 pieces panels with I needed to make a large cage. However I need one more set. This is great and sturdy. I would recommend using black plastic ties for strength.I ordered a second one can’t wait to add on .
