Excellent sharpener!
I have been looking for an inexpensive sharpener that would accommodate all sizes of colored pencils including larger ones such as Caran d’Ache Luminance. So far this one has performed perfectly and I have yet to find a brand of colored pencil that would not fit and it even has a feature that allows you to choose the pencil profile so you can have a short or long point. Highly recommended.

Best Pencil Sharpener I’ve Ever Used
So I was a bit concerned when the details said not to use on really soft pencils as my artist set did include soft lead pencils, but I figured I’d give it a try. After all how soft is really soft? Well the attached photo is one of the softest lead pencils I have - being 5B and wow! Just incredible. Nice and long sharpened lead makes it easy for shading and the even shave of the blade is almost like a sanding smooth finish. So glad I spent a little extra to get this one. Worth every cent!
