Walrus Audio Canvas Stereo Direct Box and Line Isolator, Multi (900-1065)

Great DI box for synth players. It is a stereo DI box, has a Pad button to drop a synth (line level signal) to microphone levels if needed, and a ground lift. Plus it can sum to mono if needed. Of course an XLR DI (isolated) output, but also has an unisolated audio through to route the input audio to an external device (e.g. amp, stage monitor, etc.).

For my particular needs, dealing with hum and noise with single coil pickups. This unit took care of all my issues and vastly improved instrument connections to my DAW. Just great!

This box makes my pedals and modeling equipment sound way better than regular DI when playing through front of house at church.

Had my eye on this guy for years and I wish I had purchased it sooner. It's a great and flexible DI, but the LI/DI button is what makes it the most useful DI I've ever used. A traditional DI was dropping the signal from my Strymon Iridium (or any other similar device), but by pressing the LI button, the level is exactly maintained. Works great as a regular DI, but if you need a DI for an amp modeler or stomp box, this is definitely the unit you want.

I have a largely digital pedalboard with a collection of Polyeffects boxes - Flat v, Trails, Ample, Verbs into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60. Background hiss makes the setup unusable over bedroom volumes. I’ve conditioned the power source, isolated all of the pedals and even tried a noise gate. Nothing worked to the point that I considered selling the lot. Then I bought this pedal. Plugged everything in, selected LI, summed, and went out XLR to the XLR in on the Power Engine. Problem completely solved. The only noise is 60 cycle hum from my single coil pickups and some buzz from the preamp side of the Flat V.

I just do sound, and I like it, but when a few of the bands I have mixed for and they came up to me, and said "what was that?" "that's the best my instrument has ever sounded" So when the musicians noticed a difference, then I know I have a good deal.

Just buy it and youll thank yourself later.

Cosa hermosa, cosa bien hecha, sonido prístino al momento de salir a la consola, la carcasa está hecha de metal, bastante bien protegida para que aguante el moverla a todos lados a donde la debas llevar; la ocupo para mandar una señal limpia de bajo y luego regresar a mi cadena de distorsiones para que vaya a mi amplificador, tamaño compacto y me gustó la configuración del XLR a un lado para que quepa perfecto en la pedalera

Using with my Tonex pedal. Noticeable difference when using as a line isolator for live and studio.

Bought this to use with my Strymon Iridium and it functions very well. It’s well built and I would recommend it
