works very well. cat would let us know when to change by throwing food into his water. since changing he drinks like a king. according to my cat the filter great and fit perfectly in my watering tower, very easy to change and they filter good enough for my cat.

I’ve been using Petmate products for at least 7 yrs. They are reliable and quality. The filters give me a sense of that extra filtration so my dogs & cats are getting a more pure clean water .

The product works good from what I can tell. I've never used a large drinking container like this that required filters. It's very easy to replace and is fairly durable as well.

I have 5 Siberian Huskys and this is definitely a game changer, makes things so much easier and its worth every penny, no mold no mildew just fresh clean water, of course it gets washed out every other day because I have so many dogs but when I wash it there is no slime buildup or anything like there would be in their older water bowls and I had to wash them 4 or 5 times a day and refill the water 8 to 10 times so this product definitely makes life easier and I do plan on purchasing more

I have the Replendish waterer for my cats, and these are brand name and the perfect filter replacement for it! I like that they are individually wrapped to keep their freshness, although the tight wrap can be a little difficult to get off. I also like that these included an extra filter strap to keep them in place, just in case you may have lost or broken it. As a side note, make sure you do run the filter under water or even let soak in a bowl of water for a bit before actually putting it in your waterer. I do find it strange that when I purchased these 3 days ago, they cost me less than $4.50 including tax, and now as I'm writing this review the price has literally doubled. I did think to myself that they were very affordable here, as I can only imagine these would've been between $7-$10 at Petco, but they didn't have them when I went. Will definitely purchase again in the future if the price goes back down by the time I'm looking for them next.

I've been using these water filters for several years now and am very pleased with them. Easy to use, effective filtering, and a reasonable price to boot. I have never encountered the "rust spots" that some reviewers have pointed out. I wonder if metal filings might have somehow gotten into the filter material during processing....maybe the manufacturer supplies different types of filters, some include metal, and some batches of base material got mixed up. Whatever the reason, I would have been appalled to find the rust as clearly it had to come from a metal source. Everything else in the unit is plastic. Looks like those incidents were a few years back so hopefully the problem was addressed and corrected. I replaced an old filter with one from the new package and it seems to be just fine....no rust and no errant pieces of charcoal...so far so good!

These are great little filter tablets for those gravity pet water bowls. The one I use is originally from Pet'sMart, I think it's the Petmate brand, and I haven't made the time to go get a refill pack from there. Finding these online saved me a trip, and I think a lot of the gravity water bowls use this universal size. It was really affordable and It came in a 3 pack too so that will hold us over for a while! The filters are easy to replace and made me feel a lot better about giving my cat some filtered, fresh, water!

Couldn't use this product because the water dispenser it comes with didn't have a bracket/housing to place it in. Contacted the manufacturer and they did not know what i was talking about so i returned it for credit.

Fitted our dogs water feeder which we were unable to get through our normal pet shop. Very happy.
