Replacement pen is a must have in order for the unit to work. They dont last that long. I would say 6 months with moderate use. Love the unit and would purchase again

Needs to come with pen tip solution
This is my second pen because the hardly used first stopped working after it dried up. The maker needs to tell the owner how to recharge the pen with the proper solution or make the solution and sell it to us.

Pens are expensive and once opened dry out quickly. If you do not use them daily, it gets expensive to replace. I even sealed my pen in a bag and it dried quickly with top on tightly
