I followed the instructions exactly like it said and I had no problems installing the screen. It was harder than it looked to roll the rubber seal down in the groove. I did have to walk away a couple of times to keep from getting frustrated. One thing the instructions didn’t tell me to do that I did; was to pin the top of the screen to the wood lightly to hold it in place. My husband when he saw me installing just knew it wasn’t going to work. It installed perfectly. Good quality screen and tools.

Easy to install. Honestly the hardest part was figuring out how to get the screen frame out the window.The first time I did it I pulled it too tight and it the screen ripped in the middle. (Maybe not the most durable but also user error)I installed it about a month ago and no issues so far. Plus I have more material. This was the most inclusive set I've seen on here, it has everything and more plus the price was right.

It's very impressive that this kit includes so many extras (in the form of tools, even to the degree of a measuring tape and screen cleaner!). While some mentioned poor screen quality, the quality was fine for me, and typical of what I usually see in these kits. As for spline thickness, this is not the fault of the seller. If you look in Home Depot, you'll see that spline comes in different thicknesses to fit different types of screens. What's included in this kit is what you would need in a typical home and it fit my screens perfectly. You do have to split the spline in two down the middle, as it says in the instructions, in order to get the full 30 feet. I do feel that given the size of this screen and how many windows it could do, that a little more spline would have been a good thing. Installation was super easy, and I'm very happy with the results. I would buy this kit again without hesitation.

Used this kit to replace the worn out screen for sliding door. And it worked perfectly, even though I did this for the first time.Product is very good quality, including the numerous tools that are included. They look like they will last for multiple future installations if needed.Screen comes folded in the package but straightens out nicely after installation. You do not see any folds or creases after installation.In short, I would say your search for a screen repair kit ends here. Go ahead and order confidently

Re-did our sliding screen door in about 45 minutes since it was a first for me. Easy. All the tools you could possibly need for this and future projects. The screen cleaner/brush turned out to be more useful than I anticipated since I stepped on it without realizing.One thing I didn't realize right away is that the spline comes apart into two pieces so there was twice as much as I first thought.

I am editing my review from a 1 star to a 3 star. I ordered this kit because I thought the screen and tools looked pretty good. Where it went south in the beginning is the listing advertised a 29ft screen retainer spline but it looked to be only half that. Amazon sent a replacement since we thought it was a mistake but then the seller informed me that the kit includes a 14.5 foot spline that can be split apart to make a 29ft spline. Not what I expected but ok. I ended up not using the spline and used my own because mine was better quality but using sections rather than a continuous spline piece was ok. The tools were pretty good but the screen material tore a little too easily during installation so I didn't use the convex/concave roller tool and instead used a flathead screwdriver and that worked better for me. I did like having a precut screen rather than a roll because it was easy to lay out. In the end, my first screen repair turned out pretty good and the only reason I am not giving 5 stars because of the initial confusion and also the screen material isn't as durable as I had hoped. I will see how long it lasts. It looks good for now. I appreciated the seller contacting me. This kit included everything needed to replace the screen! Inexpensive and didn’t need to go to the big box store and purchase items individually.
