It just works! Win10 compatible.
Purchased this USB to serial adapter cable to reset several used Linksys POE network switches to factory settings. I had purchased these items on an auction site and password not known so needed to reset. Works great. Plug and play with Windows 10. No hassle with driver/software installs. Plugged in, verified which COM port it was assigned by Win10, configured my terminal app with proper COM port and settings for my Cisco/Linksys switches and BAM... success. This is a quality product with solid construction and easy to use. I purchased Sabrent versus alternatives based on previous experience with other Sabrent products.

This item is what was needed for communication from older Windows XP laptop with proprietary Split Second R4 program. Sabrent 6ft. USB --> RS-232 specialty cable used to talk to ECU for 7th injector tuning on aftermarket Eaton M62 supercharger installed on Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L . Works like a charm and be sure to remember port # after installing driver for this quality made cable. Recommended for any USB to RS-232 communication needs!
