This is my second Hydro Flask Ice Pack, and I can confidently say it is definitely worth the money! In my experience, this ice pack stays frozen significantly longer than any other brand I've tried. It is the perfect size for the hydroflask lunch box I purchased. It keeps my drinks and lunch cold for the entire work day. I usually use two in my box. They are lightweight and durable.

This is a great size to fit in lunch boxes, it is on the thicker side which is great for the ice staying power but it can be a little bulky depending on the lunch boxes and containers you use

I bought this to use in my son's school lunchbox. I wish it were thinner so it took up less space inisde the lunchbox, but overall it keeps the lunch cold.

I love this company because their customer service is awesome and they don’t put toxic nonsense in their products, plus offer great product transparency for people who care what is in their home and what they put in their bodies (lead and chemicals, no thank you!). I asked what was inside these and it’s plain filtered water—nothing toxic! I use them for hot flashes and they are perfect. They stay cold a surprisingly long time. I got the smallest size and they refreeze pretty fast. They will also be great for day use in a small cooler. I might pick up a couple more. Arrived smelling clean and no “amazon fragrance.”

This ice pack does its job. My cooler doesn’t feel like the arctic tundra when I open it but so far, food/drink has always been sufficiently chilled. It does seem to take awhile to freeze though. I suppose that’s why it has the extended chill time because it’s the process in reverse. If you need the ice pack to chill quickly you might be out of luck. I’ve found myself in that situation and had to substitute a baggie of ice instead. The ice pack is durable; I don’t worry about it leaking, getting punctured or cracking and making a mess in the cooler (like the baggie of ice). It will add weight to your cooler. It’s not heavy but it’s solid and definitely won’t minimize your load.
