Spruced up the laundry room nicely!
Decided that I no longer will use the laundry pods because of the microplastic the pods release into the waste water that ends up going into the ocean, the food chain, etc. I'm back to using laundry powder and wanted to keep the powder in something other then the cardboard box the laundry powder comes in. I wasn't interested in doing a big glass jar with lid on my laundry countertop, particular since I knew I would not be able to put the entire contents of my big box into whatever jar i would have purchased. This would mean having to refill it periodically AND storing the ugly Tide laundry detergent box somewhere.This canister has a cute retro look and I like that you just hang the scoop on the outside handle. The canister held the big box of Tide (that I purchased at Costco). It has taken my laundry room up a notch in terms of organization, while simultaneously looking somewhat "posh".

Exactly what I needed.
I needed a better container for my homemade laundry detergent. This container is a great size for that purpose. Holds a whole batch (which should last for months or longer in our house) with plenty of room to spare. Looks great on the shelf, and the scoop is a great added bonus!

I use this for the big powder laundry soap box from Costco. It doesn’t hold the entire box. The look is great, quality is great.

Best detergent container
I really love this container up to the scoop. The lid is easy to open with one hand and the scoop is the perfect size for a load. It really holds a lot and keeps my detergent nice and dry.
