I've been a prolific reader of Christian classics for over 40 years. But THIS one takes the cake! It took me 3 days just to get to page 7! To be such a small volume in page count, it's undoubtedly the largest book in my library for content and depth. I finally finished it after 6 weeks, and over that 6 weeks I've been able to look back and see God's unmistakable fingerprints on my thinking, beliefs, attitudes, priorities, et al.This 1-(tiny)-volume-2-book set isn't for the casual reader. Don't even waste your time and $$$ on it unless you're serious about growing to maturity and fruitfulness in The Lord. But if you are that serious person, buy it, set aside quality, consistent time to read and digest it. Don't be surprised if it takes longer than you expected to read this small volumes. Many to-the-point and hard-hitting passages can arrest you so completely that you just can't read anymore until you've absorbed what you've just read.Helpful hint: have a highlighter, red pen and some little sticky tabs handy to mark certain passages and pages with. I bought a copy for my son-in-law and told him I was tempted to just dip the whole book in yellow ink and save the time.

What a wonderful way to guide us into complete and total surrender. This book helped understand many aspects in my walk with God. God used this medium to help me clarify some questions in my mind. I have found test in many areas. Thanks be to God

The books are excellent to read in tandem. Mr Murray has an excellent way of communicating his subject matter and I know the bookswere inspired by the Holy Spirit when I became convicted to seek deeper levels of humility and deeper surrender to God and His will inmy life.

This book is excellent. It speaks volumes of truth. What the holy and righteous God of Israel wants from all true followers and believers of the true living God wants from those that say they are His.

Two books in this one. Humility is a book that is a must read for every man and woman if you want to learn how to turn your life around for God. The book Absolute Surrender teaches you how to give up your flesh in order to surrender your life to God.

The content of the book is excellent and challenging. Your life will change if you follow the principles in this book.The editing of this edition is very sloppy. There are sentences that don't make sense, printing errors, and punctuation errors.
