Tea Box Storage Organizer for Tea Collections, 8 Compartments w/Glass Window (Black)

Ordered about a week ago, got it today :) glad I read the reviews for this and many others before purchasing. Others (tea boxes online) looked good in pics but their reviews were terrible or too expensive for my budget, and for this one the reviews were pretty good for the price. Worth it. I'm excited about this purchase, got one for myself to match cabinets and few others for Christmas gifts. Already put whatever teas I had into it and it just looks so much nicer taking that out than all my boxes of tea. Can't wait to be able to just take this out when geusts come over! It fits standard size tea bags but the huge greenfield tea bags that I had in the left corner of my pics don't lay flat but they do stand with box closed or folded up a bit to fit. But seems like most tea bags will fit. Looks like a quality tea box so far, gold hinges look nice and seem sturdy. Real glass. I might take other reviews into consideration and put little legs or something to stand it up so the bottom doesn't get ruined, don't know yet. Hope this helps, along with the pictures! Okay, I will say I ordered this by mistake. I read the reviews and planned to buy a different tea box. Well, I must have hit the back button on my phone and still ordered this one. As it was arriving I realized my mistake and was waiting with dread. But, I was actually quite surprised when it finally came. No damage like the bad reviews I've seen and the quality was actually quite decent. I thought the inner wooden slots that can be removed wouldn't be very secure but they are. Box opens and closes nicely with its cute golden hinges. It has proven to be a great box for my tea bags while I didn't know the majority of my tea bags where in unmarked tea bags that pretty much needed to be kept in their original boxes 🤦🏾‍♀️ Well, I love it for the ones that are in these little pouches ❤ A LOVELY little mistake

This has the potential to be a very nice tea storage box. The quality of the materials is good. I like the glass top as opposed to some cheap plastic. The joinery of the box and lid are also solid. For the one I received, however, there were a couple of issues: 1) I heard a "rattle" when I opened the box (never a good sign). It turned out that two pieces of the molding that hold the glass in were loose. The one was still partially attached. The other had come off completely - hence the rattle. 2) The measuring/cutting of the molding inside the lid was slightly off. There are 1/8" - 1/4" gaps. Not a huge deal, but very obvious when the lid is open. 3) The lid does not exactly align with the base when closed. It is close, but off enough to be obvious. So overall quite impressed for the price. But the detail work with the molding is sloppy. The gaps in the molding is not something that could have been missed by the assembler. The molding needs to be more carefully measured - and glued as well as pinned. The alignment of the hinges also needs some more attention. ***Update 8/31/16*** I heard from Tyler, the owner of The Bamboo Leaf, a mere couple of hours after posting this review. He was quite cordial and offered a number of remedies including a replacement. That kind of customer service is hard to come by and has prompted me to bump this from a 4-star (4.5 really) to a 5. You are not going to find a better quality tea box at this price. And if you do have issues Tyler will make it right.

I truly love drinking tea, but I never realized that so many people recognized that about me until my December birthday and Christmas rolled around. It was then that I received the most darling teapot, teapot caddie, and an endless variety of tea, both imported and domestic. I had boxes, bags, cans, and pouches filled with an endless array of tea from which to choose. I had no idea as to how I was going to organize it all so as to make it readily available when I wanted to choose the right tea for the right occasion. I had always seen nice tea caddies in fine restaurants and decided to purchase one for myself. This one is lovely in all respects EXCEPT I wish it were BIGGER. I'm off to a great start but still have "a harbor full" of tea that remains in jars and on cupboard shelves. Need to order three more, I guess. I do love the one I have and love the "touch of class" it adds to my kitchen. Thank you so much for making me so happy.

The tea caddy holds my tea very well, allows me to see what’s in the box before I open it, and arrange the tea top down or front to back. The quality of the tea caddy is good. The glass or window is clear and it looks snazzy.

I purchased this tea chest as a bridal shower gift. Knowing most people follow the guide listed at stores where the bride is registered, I wanted a different gift. I ordered the bamboo tea chest, and enclosed a poem inside about tea. When my gift was opened the expression of surprise, joy, and appreciation for a unique gift was so worth it. The tea chest being of Bamboo is solid constructed and sturdy. It is just the right size for a person who is a tea connoisseur, or just enjoys trying different teas a few at a time. It also makes a great gift for a bridal shower, or otherwise. Aside from the sturdiness of the bamboo tea chest, the color of the tea chest and it's design is so elegant, and affordable priced.

The chest really is a nice addition to the countertop. It feels refined without being showy. You can easily see everything in it from any angle. The cubbies hold a ton of tea without crowding (there are about 80 tea bags in the picture.) The lid opens fluidly, and the few times I’ve accidentally let fall, it doesn’t feel like it’s about to shatter. The problem is the giant branding on the front. After it got in, I checked the pictures the seller posted because I didn’t remember seeing a huge logo in the posting, and it sure seems like the picture has been altered to make it less noticeable. It’s fine on your kitchen counter because you’ll eventually stop noticing, but it doesn’t make it especially giftable

Good product but overpriced!

I received the glass top part totally shattered. The frame holding it was not sturdy enough. The box in itself is good. Have asked for a refund. I wishthey could replace it for me
