Glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on this. Very cheaply made. Doesn’t hold flat position long enough to throw and certainly doesn’t hold my dog’s interest. Brittle plastic vs hard rubber exterior with flimsy metal springs inside, so not safe for a chewer to play with anyway. Very disappointing.

This toy is so fun. I can't wait for them to get it. As a grown person I played with it for a long time haha

Cute idea, but broke within the first couple of weeks. Did not hold up to play, and often won't stay "phlat."

This ball looked really cool and I was excited to give it to my son for Christmas. Unfortunately, even with Amazon Prime and 3 week lead time, it did not come in time and actually arrived over a month after ordering. The timed spring for this to pop up from being flat is very faulty and sporadic so it’s hard to play with because it’s unpredictable. It is made up of very hard plastic, that after playing catch for awhile, starts to hurt your hands. The overall weight and size are adequate and great for catch but the bounce is very lacking compared to what is advertised. I’m only giving it 2 stars because I did not return it.

The prior generation of these balls that transform to a flat disc were soft. So my grandkids and I were surprised at this hard version with a hard outer surface. Nowhere in the description does the maker let buyers know this phlat ball has a hard outer surface. Other than that, the phlat ball works as expected and is a great source of entertainment for elementary school & pre-school kids and their families.
