Guide Rail Adapter Compatible with Dewalt Router - Made in USA

It’s great to see companies like ToolCurve designing and manufacturing quality accessories that allow you to plug other brands’ tools into your Festool system. I’ve been using Festool ever since they got into the US market. As a cabinetmaker and trim carpenter I use the DeWalt cordless trim router a lot on-site. Now, with the ToolCurve adaptor plate I can make shallow dadoes, rabbets, relief cuts all with FesTool accuracy, and with the convenience of the cordless Dewalt trim router. ToolCurve appears to make a quality product. Had no issues installing. And as others have mentioned, it is a bit tight on the rail at first but is fine now. I’d rather have that than slop any day. Looking forward to trying out other products in their line.

The adapter is well made and sturdy. It will be a game changer.

Love this router! It's powerful for its size, but incredibly to control and push through a cut. I have bigger hands so it fit nicely. Someone with a bit smaller hand might find a tad large.

Bolts directly up to my Dewalt router and fits on my Makita track perfectly. Comes with a stop that fits on the Makita track to help stop at the right location. I was kind of skeptical ordering this. I wondered if I really needed it or not. But I had three large tables and a counter top that I was adding t track to, and decided to give it a try. Holy crap, its awesome! I usually line up a good straight peace of wood and clamp it down for a guide. This tool cut my setup time in half. All I had to do was draw my layout on the surface, drop the Makita track in place, line up the arrow on the jig and go. I had some channels stretching out to over 7', and they where just as easy to set up as the 20" runs. I am still shocked by how much I like this jig.

It is a great palm router. It is nice not to have a cord getting in my way. It does a great job.

I purchased this to route box joints with my DeWalt DWP611 route, however, It is made of a plastic material which easily flexes during use and makes it difficult to maintain a clean, straight joint even though it's connected to a Kreg track. Would have been better if it was aluminum.

Purchased this rail adapter to simplify and speed up dado cuts for a shelf project. Worth every penny! Giving this 5 stars with a couple comments for improvement. The setup was simple, holes aligned perfectly to my router. Fits snug to Festool track. My project setup was simple enough using the center line markings on the adapter, but there's some opportunity for improvement. My recommendation (or nitpick) for an improved product: Give me an offset measurement and/or ruler on the adapter. For the number of cuts I was making I would have liked to mark my board for the offset to set the track, as well as center line. I figured out what I needed for the project, but I could see other markings being useful.

Purchased it for my DEWALT DW611P Router to work on some custom oak molding. The adapter plate is 3D printed, solid and stiff. The rail adapter fits into the Festool rail quite well and there is no play between the rail and the router base. Time will tell if wear over time will change this but at this point works quite well. The rail action is smooth and was able to use the screws from the DEWALT base to fix the rail base to the router. A great purchase.
