This brush cleanser works great, and quickly! It smells amazing and makes cleaning my make up brushes so easy. It is a quick dry rinse free formula. Be sure to follow directions for best results. The solution seems to evaporate your old makeup as you rub the bristles on your cloth. I use an old thick towel to wipe my brushes onto. They dry very quickly so you don’t go days without your favorite brushes like with some other cleaners. Worth the $$$.

This is just as good as the original (blue) version but without the cloying vanilla fragrance. This is a more subtle lemon scent that at worst smells a bit like Lemon Pledge (which is too bad if you ask me!). This product makes it so easy to clean your makeup brushes every day and keep them sanitary. It also dries really fast due to the alcohol content. I just keep some of it in a small spray bottle, saturate each brush I used that day, and wipe off on a clean towel or tissue. I have some nice natural and artificial fiber brushes and it works well on both. I find cleaning them this way also keeps the natural hair brushes keep their shape. I know pros will say the alcohol can damage the fibers but I’ve been using this daily on some of my nice brushes for over 5 years with no issues so I think it’s a valid alternative. If you’re the type of person that likes to clean up as you go or you have a limited number of brushes, this may be the cleaner for you.

Typically cleaning your make-up brushes is a pain and often they don't even come that clean. This is a game changer. Quick and efficient with a pleasant smell, they really get the brushes clean. The brushes also dry quickly, so I'm cleaning them much more often. Purchase the one that comes with a reusable can and lid, then buy refills of just the cleaning product. Recommend!

I bought this cleaner sometime back and just used it today. It was very time saving and easy. In the past I used a clarifying shampoo to clean my makeup brushes. It was involving and took time for every brush to get washed, scrubbed, and rinsed and then air dried. Sometimes I had to repeat if necessary. I used this solution for first time today. I poured a small amount into a little dish and then dipped just the brush tips in it. Then I wiped the brush on a towel to remove the makeup. Done! The brushes also dry quicker. The only drawback was that the liquid cleaner either evaporated quickly or got absorbed readily into the brush because I had to keep adding the cleaner fluid to the bowl to keep it at the right level. I used a 1/4 -1/3 of the 32oz. bottle of cleanser to clean a combination of about 20 face & eye brushes. On a price basis it cost me close to $10 for this brush cleaning session. The cleanser works great but from now on I’ll only use it for cleaning a foundation or blush brush when necessary and don’t have time for a whole water wash & dry routine.

I am someone who cleans my brushes after every use and Cinema Secrets is the best brush cleanser I’ve used. It does a much better job than the pink MAC brush cleanser. I usually add a little cleanser into a metal tin and dip my brush then wipe off on a paper towel but putting the cleanser on a paper towel and wiping the brush back and forth until all the makeup is removed is also effective. Nothing removes liquids and creams from brushes as well as the Cinema Secret cleansers. Not only is it effective but cleaning my brushes this way without water helps to maintain my brushes. My oldest brushes are 18 years old and still in great condition despite daily use.

I prefer the smell of this way more than the blue one. It's lighter and not as chemically. Best and easiest cleaner I've ever used. With myself and two teens, I'll be ordering this often.

Works amazing for cleaning brushes without water, I swear it makes them last much longer in better shape too. It’s expensive but I think it’s worth the money.

Love this brush cleaner. I had only ever used the blue version before but this one is much better. The scent isn't as strong or intense. I do wish it lasted a little longer, then again I have a LOT of brushes to wash so if you have fewer brushes you'll get more uses out of it.

I was looking for an easier way to clean my makeup brushes and heard someone say this product is very good. So despite the price being higher than I wanted to pay I though I would try it. Wish I hadn't. I used the product as stated in the instructions. I didn't feel like there was much makeup coming off the brushes. I wanted them dried quick so I used my 'brush spinney thing' as I call it. It spins the brushes very quickly so the water/cleaning product comes off easily. The liquid that was left after spinning them looked like watered down foundation. I cleaned them the usual way after, shampoo and a makeup cleaning matt, then spun them again. Very little makeup product came out after. I wont be buying again and I would encourage others not to bother with this.
