Put the gel bag in freezer. Gel does not freeze but just the perfect cooling. Lasts for at least half an hour. Fits in bag perfectly. Value for money product. Recommended for joint pain and swelling.

I had ordered these from Amazon roughly a couple months back , for my mother who have just undergone a knee replacement surgery . Based on daily usage , there are certain pros and cons associated with this product .Pros:1. These are ready to use after a maximum of 30 minutes of freezing2. Leak-proof and yet provides maximum coolingCon:It cannot be used for longer times . Within fifteen minutes , it becomes soft and needs to be put in the freezer again in case of further usage .Overall , it is a good value for money . I would recommend this to anyone post surgery

Good but needs improvement
The gel pack is of good quality and decent size (ordered Large) but the cover and strap offered is total trash. I just dumped it…the strap is so short even for me and am very thin waisted. Take care of that and you have a good product!

I used as cold pack for my back where I had some irritation. It did give me relief for 5-6 hours.
