Plug & Play
Bought it to use on a PC where the sound jack wasn't operating directly. Searched for a work around and this came in handy! Just plug and play. Sound is good and as expected from the PC itself. Working just fine so far. Reccommended!

Good for using Bluetooth headphones with airplane seatback screens
I bought this adapter specifically to use my Bluetooth headphones with in-flight entertainment systems, and it works fine. (Note that you need the IFE Bridge iOS app). Because the input is a microphone input (instead of "line in") the input is mono, but the audio will still come out both earphones with IFE Bridge. My setup: I plug the airplane's 3.5mm headphone jack into this adapter (pink input), connect the adapter to my iPhone, and use the IFE Bridge app to route the audio to my AirPods. No more tangled airline headphones! What you should know: - Works perfectly with iPhone (USB-C) - Audio quality is good, though mono - Compact enough to keep in your carry-on - You need to get a cable with 3.5mm audio connectors on both ends If you're tired of using cheap airline headphones or carrying wired headphones just for flights or using a Bluetooth adapter (which has a battery that needs to be charged separately) this adapter solves the problem.

Simply works.
I purchased this because the volume from my original sound card was not loud enough. It works as advertised—true plug-and-play. It fits securely into my desktop’s USB port, and both the volume and overall sound quality have improved significantly compared to the old sound card.

Couldnt have been easier, worked perfect
Plug and play just like it said, worked great for adding a line-in to a PC that only had USB!

Does not record in stereo
Whoa, 24-bit 96khz dac and mic jack for THAT price?? It's too good to be true! Unfortunately that is the case, as while the output quality is amazing for a cheap usb c adapter, the mic jack only records in mono. I bought this thing specifically because my laptop lacked a stereo line-in port (only a crummy headphone-mic combo jack stuck at 48khz) so I was disappointed. They've effectively taken a 4-ring combo jack and just moved the mono mic ring to its own port, meaning its not even useful if you wanna use earbuds with a built-in mic. Definitely buy this for your phone if you're only gonna listen with your ear/headphones as its quality is superior to all similar adapters but avoid if any microphones are gonna be involved. For pc just get a cheap external sound card. I just found one from cubilux that can output 7.1 surround and record at 384khz stereo, all for less than $30

Works as advertised - allowed us to use our old speakers with the new computer that did not have an audio out jack

Needed to connect a microphone to a Mac Studio and this worked as I only had a microphone with a 3.5mm connection

This device saved my life and whole load of stress. As many currently are doing, I work from home on a laptop, setup to connect securely to my works computer network. As a Quality Analyst, I require the use of headphones and sound card to listen to agent calls as the primary task. Then to my horror, the sound card or sound chip built in to the laptop motherboard, stopped working. Windows 10 was less than useless as ever at giving any indication of this, it kept saying it was not plugged in, which of course was not the issue. Anyway, I was in a real dilemma and thought I would perform a quick search on Amazon to see if there were any solutions, and I found this external USB sound card. I was dubious I have to say that this would work or that it was even a sound card itself, I thought it would end up being an adapter to plug in headphones or speakers but not fix the problem. I was wrong, it plugged in, Windows immediately detected it as a USB sound device, it was working in seconds perfectly, replacing my onboard sound device. This product is of high quality, great sound quality and has bot a line out for speakers or headphone and a line in for a microphone if you require it. Excellent and thank you for saving my life!!
