Years later still works perfect

This official Garmin battery fits the Garmin Virb and Virb Elite and is identical to my older 2023 Garmin battery but it would not take a charge. Not sure what changed.

The battery is being used for a back up battery while surveying vegetation riparian communities on the Grand Staircase Monument. It keeps its charge and fulfilled my needs very well. No problems to date and I use it regularly. Have used it daily since 2013 and only recently loses charge a little faster than new. Good battery.

Battery made 5/29/23 & Received it on 3/16/24 so 10 months old arrived with 20% charge. Direct Garmin replacement for Alpha 100. You can see the box from Garmin that it came in. My Alpha has issues with all after market batteries so doubled the price to buy this one. I will update once I run the 7 hounds all day. (7 collars)

Product showed up in the official Garmin packaging. I installed it into my 200i handheld for charging. It got a full charge and its charge is lasting about as long as the three year old battery that I was replacing. I am not sure what I should do to get a higher quality battery I don’t think I have ever wrote a review before…. UPDATE: Battery was good. Garmin replaced my 200i defective handheld.

These batteries are designed to fit the Garmin GPS I have, but at this price, they are no bargain. You can buy a lot of AA batteries (my unit runs on 3 AAs) for the price of a single rechargeable Garmin battery pack. And the rechargeable battery pack doesn't have as much power or last as long as the 3 AA batteries. It can only be recharged via USB in the GPS - Garmin doesn't supply a separate charger. I know it's not very environmentally friendly, but if I had it to do over again, I'd stock up on disposable AA batteries instead. They last longer, they cost less, and you don't have to worry about recharging them. The weight difference is negligible compared with the weight of the GPS itself.

Bought this to replace the OEM battery in my Garmin Montana 600. Works great! Would recommend.

Bought this item and returned it because it wouldn’t charge. Battery was made in 2019! I asked to exchange it and they did. The second battery came in and it also wouldn’t charge. The replacement was made in 2017! Do not buy these batteries. I wish there was a no star rating.

Identica a la que me venia de serie en mi garmin Vierb Elite.. la misma capacidad y tiempo de grabacion.. 3 horas con ella encendida y mas de 2 horas de material record..

Mit seinen 16 Stunden Laufzeit bei den Funktionen, die ich vom Navi ständig abrufe, wirklich eine gute Laufzeit und erspart das lästige Mitführen mehrerer Batterien. Bisher läuft der 1.Akku schon über 1 Jahr, sodass ich mir inzischen mehrere davon zulegte. Wechsel des Akkus schnell möglich.

Garmin original, works just fine

Ho avuto l'infausta idea, qualche anno fa, di orientarmi verso batterie compatibili, perché un pò più economiche di questa originale. Ho sbagliato: la carica non è affatto la stessa, durano meno, ed oggi, di tre compatibili comprate, due non si ricaricano nemmeno più. Questa originale invece, come le altre due acquistate insieme al GPS, continuano a mantenere tutta la loro carica, alcune anche a distanza di 5-6 anni ! Consiglio vivamente questa batteria, originale, anche se costa qualche euro in più.
