Our 10 year old Cat Oscar was diagnosed with CKD and Hyperthyroid in late October /22.He had shown signs of illness, weight loss and excessive drinking water and we knew something wasn't right with him. We were very concerned about his health and took him to the Vet for a checkup. The blood work showed very high levels Creatine, Bun, Urea, Hypothyroid etc. The Vet wanted to put him down that same day. She claimed he was untreatable and had stage 4 CKD and In combination with hyperthyroid there was nothing that could to be done for him.We had no idea he even had these illnesses, despite regular yearly Vet checkups, blood work has always been good. Zink on a daily basis.We also got a Second Opinion and changed our Vet. We found a great clinic where they actually wanted to help us to find a solution to Oscars illnesses and save his life. ( 01-12-23)The new Vet did blood work on Oscar and this time it showed the Creatine, Bun and Urea had come down a lot, but I knew in order for his health/ kidney function to improve even more he needed Kidney Support Gold. ( had already read all about the product)Since 14 Feb/23 he has now been on Kidney Gold, 4 drops morning + night in his renal wet food. He showed improvement in appetite and had more energy within days. He comes out for daily walks in the forest with us and is looking very well now. He sleeps through the night now, and the night howling has stopped completely. The excessive drinking has also stopped.His latest blood test at the Vet was last week. 03-07-23The lab work had improved so much in a short period of time.Urea: 20. Down from 28.3.Creatine: 141. Down from 180.Phos: 1.53. Down from 3.6Bun: 35. I've been using this product for months in conjunction with Porus One & Kidney Restore as all 3 products are highly spoken about in my KD cat groups. I believe this product has helped my cat's kd go from stage 2 to stage 1.

I have used a lot of these products for the fact they're natural. But they got a little bit too high so I've been looking for other alternatives but they actually do work

It was very calming but our precious 19Year old cat died😢.

We have a cat who has some kidney damage due to hyperthyroid. He is not end-stage, but we wanted to help him so I got this stuff. Within a day of starting it, he had stopped eating entirely, and this morning when he finally appeared from his cave, he had severe discharge from his eyes, very congested breathing, and his breath smells bad, and his rear legs appear weak suddenly. This is all very sudden onset, new symptoms appearing right after starting him on this supplement. I checked the 1 star reviews here and it appears that this might be a very dangerous product that shouldn't be on the market. Lots of desperate people who have pets with kidney problems probably order it in haste, without reading the bad reviews. Well, you should. Also, Amazon has this as a "no return" product, you can't return it, which is very nice for the manufacturer no doubt. Please, avoid this, if you care about your pet.

Maybe I started too late…my 17 yr old cat was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease and started using this in addition to what the vet prescribed but he was failing and a couple months later and it was time to euthanize. Maybe if I started a couple years ago it would’ve delayed his decline. He had a great life though and is missed. One thing I’d say is my cat did not like the taste, maybe if it was tasteless it would’ve been easier for him to get down.
