We don't ship frozen scrapple and don't recommend purchasing frozen/half frozen scrapple. If you must freeze, then slice the fresh scrapple first and then freeze.

Is this product safe to order in the summer?

It is sold from individual vendors, and it would have to be packed with dry ice. Some may or may not provide that service. That said, be sure someone will be home to accept the package right away & preserve it accordingly.
