If you’re looking for a fatty but beautiful crunch and bite through thin savory at sweet pieces with a slight spice. If you love the essence of honey mixed with acidity of vinegar plus beautiful spices like salt the mustard powder paprika, cayenne mix are just enough, but do not take away from the beautiful brisket flavor. I am on my third bag in 2 weeks whether I’m eating it on the go in my vehicle or I’m waking up first thing in the morning wanting to put some protein and my body to fuel my soul. This is the best jerky I have tasted in many years.

I so wanted the other reviews to be wrong, but they aren’t. This jerky has an ok texture, very slightly crispy but mostly soft. The fat and look of it is also nice. The problem is the flavor and the overall stickiness of the meat. It’s like they poured the marinade over it and it didn’t fully dry. In addition, it is sickly sweet. I did my due diligence of trying 5-6 pieces, but it was a challenge to get through— each of the different pieces was overwhelmed with the sticky Smokey flavoring. Ultimately, it was inedible for me and my fiance.

False advertised, I was expecting the jerky to be crunchy like other candied jerky I’ve tried but it wasn’t crunchy at all, flavor is good I like the sweet and spicy aspect but wished it was crispy like how it was advertised to be. Very little amount in the pouch as well.

I don’t write too many reviews but I got this jerky yesterday and I am in love with the flavor and already ordered another small pack. I bought it because I thought it was “crispy” or crunchy, as advertised, but it is NOT. But it does taste delicious! You can tell the meat is high quality and the fat parts are yummy and it’s not really spicy, just a little kick in the end. It’s sticky and chewy and worth the price in my opinion.

Way too sweet and sticky. Cuts were super uneven and my bag was mainly scraps. The few pieces (just one) which has meat and fat tasted alright but not worth the price. Might be good for you if you really really want more candy than jerky tho.

The quality of the brisket is great, but this flavor was too sweet for my taste. I accepted a full refund from the company, which goes to show you that they care about their product and customers. I would suggest a more savory flavor option like garlic pepper.

The title says “ Premium Beef Brisket Jerky by Weekend Jerky - Made with 100% Grass-Fed Beef Gluten-Free Sweet Spicy Smoky Salty Fatty Thin Crispy Super Tasty Flavorful Highly Addicting No Added”. LIE! It is no where near crispy. It’s damp. Not at all like the jerky crisps I was looking for. Yuck!

One of my favorite beef jerkies out there, the taste of this beef is truly unique! Slightly sweet and savory with a spicy kick! The best part is its texture. The brisket they use is top-quality, thin, and juicy. None of that tough and dry jerky that breaks the jaw. And what's even better is the fatty bits! So soft and flavorful! I do agree with others that the portions are a bit small. But good beef jerky does come in a premium! And if I could change one thing, it would be bigger packs. I easily finish the whole pack in one sitting!
